Ok im back and the ladies look amazing. Roots have devloped amazingly since i have left. They were getting healthy again before i left after all the root problems and are now nice and big and looking how they should of since day 1 if i kept the res temps down and made sure no light was hitting the res like i am doing now. I reset my thermomitor while i was gone to see what the temps would get to while i was gone and couldnt put in the frozen water bottles and the max was 76 degrees in the res but averaged around 68. Roots show no sign of being in the warm water. The plants also grew about 2 inches while i was gone which im excited about. Also when i left all the plants had pistils everywhere but now are starting to form buds and have crystals everywhere. When i left there where crystals every here and there and now the whole plant is starting to get covered!!!!!! Anyway i will post pics in a few minutes. Also i will be changin the res tonight. i have 50 ml of Sensi bloom A&B, 50ml of botnicare sweet, 10ml of technoflora magical and 10ml of technoflora awesome blossom, and about 75 ml of 3% hydrogen peroxide which is almost nothing compared to adding h202 but a little is better then nothing and the roots look great so i figured i would add a little just to make sure they stay healthy. Oh ya it was brought up about the ph and who would do it while i was gone. This was an issue the ph rose to 7.0 while i was gone but i have adjusted it and the plants didnt show any sign of the ph being to high. Picks will be posted in a few minutes

Here are as few more pics in the group shot from outside the box the front left one looks like it has one main cola and then only one side branch its weird. It really has like 5-6 side branches as you can see from the top shots but from the side picture outside the box it looks like its only got one main side branch lol. I guess that one u can see is covering the others up and taking all the camera time!!downsized_0428000110.jpgdownsized_0428000110b.jpgdownsized_0428000109.jpg

I have also realized that the when the box is in flower mode and is suppose to be on a 12/12 light cycle it really is a 11 on 13 off light cycle. Does anyone else who has a BC Norther Lights box notice this or is yours 12/12. I have been manually setting the clock back an hour after the lights have been on for an hour so it gets 12 hours of light and then when the lights go out i set the clock forward an hour so they get 12 hours of dark instead of 13. Has anyone else noticed this?? Is there a way to re-program it so i dont have to manually do this? IS there an advantage to 11/13 which is why they have it setup this way? Can 11/13 hurt them? Can it be good for them? Any info is appreciated

They say they are an 8-10 week strain. My back right one i think will take all 10 weeks it is like 1 week behind all my other ones. It was a late bloomer. It showed sex 1 week after all the others and looks about a week behind in its progress. im thinking my others will be cut down around 8-9 and the back right one will take the full 10. Who knows tho alot could change in the next few weeks they are only 3 weeks old so only time will tell!!!!!!

Thanks smokedup, i'm sorry to hear about your diesel mother but im sure it had to be done. deff good to know about the NYCD growin too tall , ill leave some empty spaces. the purps are only week 4 from seed so the NYCD will have to do for now but i plan on flowering around 5 "

do you guys use the CFL for anything other then clones or is the MH superior. the reason i ask is my Big mack pack (2 producers fully loaded 1 mothership non hydro and 2 dryers) came with 8 HPS bulbs 6 MH buls 4 T5s but no cfls. so i either dont need the cfls because clones are done in the mothership under the MH or they forgot to pack it. I dont think i NEED the extra CFL but the CFL has its own independent switch and timer and appears to be able to run in sync with the other switch and timer (MH or HPS). should i buy a cfl bulb and have it run in sync with the other 2 400watters?? or did that switch and bulb become obsolete when i purchased my mothership?

and llop1103 my mothership only has timers for 18/6 and 24/7 and ive never checked the accuracy of the timers but i know you can get instructions from bcnl to modify the schedule. I have also read of experimental light timing modifications that shorten grow cycles. dont quote me on this but i THINK by shortening the dark cycle you can get more "days" out of a month. I'd look into this if i was gonna take the time to reprogram my machine.

I was gonna do some Blue Cheese this year also but the guy with the cutting left me donw big time, ended up getting the Big Buddha Cheese seeds and am happy with the results so far, just put them in flowering the other day (Link to journal in signature).

Have to say tho i always like my blue cheese bud to bend towards more to the blueberry side with cheesy undertones, have smoked both phenos and have to say the blueberry side is much better. Good luck bro :)

I use the 125 watt cfl inside the grow chamber throughout the entire grow from veg through flower. I start the plants on the CFL only and only add the 400 MH's after two weeks of veg (from seed), though Im sure some people use them sooner (maybe with clones it doesn't matter). The CFL provides some blue spectrum light which many HPS lights don't offer. I read this can reduce stretch. It also adds more lumens to the mix and fills in some light in the middle where the HPS's don't reach as well.

llop1103 - My lights stay on for 12 hours. I'd call BCNL.

Ya i guess i will just call BCNL today and figure out how to change the light cycle back to 12/12 from the 11/13 its on now. I bought the box used so mabye the guy before me programmed it to be on 11/13 for some reason. It isnt that bad manually setting the clock back an hour once the lights come on so it stays on for an extra hour but when i am out of town i cant do that and my plants might get stressed if the go from 12/12 to 11/13 then back to 12/12 when i get back in town. WHo knows i will call BCNL today and figure it out though. Anyway thanks for the comments guys i appreciate it. The smell coming off from the plants right now is def a musky cheese smell. Im hoping the blueberry starts to show itself in the next few weeks.

The mothership i have is the upgraded version its like the roomate version or whatever. Its hydro and it came with a MH and an HPS so you can do the whole process in the box instead of just using it for mothers and clones which is why it has the 18/6 or 12/12 options instead of the 24/0 or 18/6 like yours

Hey llop, if you're using the newer model of mothership, go into the BCNL website, and click support videos, then changing parameters. It's a step by step guide on how to set all your computers settings to whatever. ;

I dont think its the newer version i think its an older one, however i went under the setup and it has an option that says parameters so i will check the video out and see what i can do. Thanks alot!!

PLants height are at 22 1/2" back left 17" front left 19 1/2" front right and back right. Im thinking they will end up around 21-22 inches since they are in there 4th week of flower now and i think they are almost done stretching. Anyway any ideas on how much i might yeild with these BBBC plants? They look like they will be pretty dense and i will get some good main colas and some decent weight off the side branches. Im gussing 2 o's of each the plants on the right side 1 o off the front left plant and 1/2 o off the back left one for a total of 5 1/2 o's. Do you think this is realistic or is 2 zips for each plant on the right side to high of a yeild since they are not that big and are not going to fill my box?
