Good Saturday all !!

I thought this was an interesting DTW setup. They used an aquarium air divertor for water, but what's really cool are those trays to disperse the water. I'm thinking it would be easy to make them from round trays with holes in them. To help disperse the water evenly, and help reduce evaporation/high humidity. @Laughing Grass

It could also decrease any algae that might form on top. I prefer the ones I've seen that have a right and left half so you can add or remove them at any time.

What do you guys think of this light? $666 with coupon. evil

I never thought I'd say this but I'm stuck on HLG. I have a bar light but the boards and especially HLG's seem to be so much better. I don't know what but I'm running a 250 watt at 10% and getting the same growth as my 485 watt at 60%. Then Diablo X's spectrum can't be matched. I've never seen my plants love a light so much! I'm a new HLG Fan it's all @Laughing Grass 's fault

I'm running the Mars sp 150 for my orchids. It runs a bit warm and it's spectrum is a bit of a weird green (why all my food pics look slightly off) LOL

You and me both Curious. Loving the performance of both their RSpec and BSpec boards over these past few years. Went HLG in early 2019.

As far as I could deduce, a myriad of us RIU-ists helped to convince Grass.
I'd been growing with HIDs since, well, forever. I had bought a Mars SP150 for my orchids and a HPF4000 bar light for veg (trying to decrease heat). I wasn't really impressed with either although they do a good job the HPF seems to put out just as much heat as the MH run at 400.

LG and her 350R's convinced me to try a board light. I worried boards would trap heat in bubbles even with fan movement and lead to earlier burn out. So I tried HLG's inexpensive 250W Veg Pro and I was flipped. It runs so cool! So I looked at the Scorpion Diablos and went with the X because of the spectrum and pulled my last HID in my flower room and I've never been happier. So whatever they are doing they are doing it right.
