well, like i said, that plant isn't growing as fast as the other two i have left from my outdoor grow this year. Whether the plant was meant to do so or not, i'll never know, but the one factor i know that might have hurt it's growth, was the splitter. plus i didn't get the splitter to spec anyway.

There is always next year :blsmoke:

So check this out DR. I was thinking about this today....I have one of my old plants that was chopped a few weeks ago still in it's pot...I hadnt pulled the stem to look at the roots till today...here is the thing....I was in a 3 gallon pot and my rootball was only like five inches in diameter....so...I dunno if the larger pipes would train it properly. the more I think about it I think that small pipes would be better to get the roots out in different directions...I guess the real question is how the fuck do you train something you cant see...I have noticed that everyone growing with hydro setups have really long thick roots and my roots in soil just dont work the same....so maybe hydro is the way to go with it...but as for now we will just have to see what happens with it in soil. the other thing I was thinking is...what if you were to leave the pipe splitter unfilled with dirt and you still buried it...now...in the tubes you hook up some misters to mist the roots till they hit soil.... it may promote great root growth before the roots actually extend to the end of the splitter and dig their way into the soil around the tube...I dunno...just thinking out loud I suppose...:blsmoke:

it's an idea. i would like to test out the misting on an indoor grow, of which i am not able to do. i also have no idea about that kind of grow tech. (IE price, how it works)

it sounds like the mister might have some application, simply because, it is well known that in an environment that the roots have less pressure on top of them (dirt) the bigger they will grow, and the better chances you have of that plant being a successful yielding grow.

I'm going to put that on my list honkeytown, and thanks for dropping in.
