A little garden update :
Not a bad finish for the last hydroponic crop to go through the garden for the foreseeable future
Cherry Pie coming up :hump:

And a shot of the Grean Bicycles run. Don't mind the predator mite carrier still lingering on some leaves

How do you feel your snowcaps are in comparison to the synthetic program you were on? Leaves & stems looks real healthy. Stretch n so forth is comparable?
Letting the pots dry out pretty close to dry like with coco or keeping them a lil wetter maybe to allow microbal life to live? How long dies a fully saturated pott (those 15's?) Take to dry with the x4 girls? Did they have a few wks to spread their legs in the new soil before flip or was it just a couple days after planting do to x4 a pott n wanting or knowing quite yet if they'll get overcrowded? Probably not hu?. Not when going from clonish or 2 wk veg.
Bout to transplant one plant into the Grean Bicycles mix tonight hopefully, maybe tomorrow. Will hyu with questions I'm sure. Have never done anything even remotely close to this before. Never even grew in store bought soil.
But am chasing that organic taste & appeal using synthetics as my base. Might as well cut the crap n try the real deal.
Thanks for sharing Brother OHD!

looks good so far, i might have to bite the bullet & order some of that tea...
I did! Going to try organic soil growing now for the first time too using the Grean Bicycles.
Made a 1/2 a big tote using 1/2 GreenTree, Growers Blend (weak soil), 1/2 Pro-Mix & a few dashes of perlite & x2 1lb bags of Ocean Bounty.
I like how you can make your soil out of a soiless media like CoCo or Pro-Mix. This allows one to carry over the drying rates they are accustom to or so choose.
I'd imagine a rich soil like HappyFrog or something would use less amendment? Only makes sense right?
Have to order more because I'm going 1/2 the room Jacks n the other half Grean Bicycles, all the way through. If I'm gonna try organic growing i need to see the difference in the end.
Pretty excited about it honestly!

If you don't feel like starting a journal just for that side by side your more than welcome to post updates in this journal as it pertains to the Grean Bicycles product.
Just 1 rule - if you ever use the stupid fucking phrase "3-2-1" your out!

Haha! I dont use that anyway's. Mine is Hybridways 3-1-2 & is custom. Lol!
Cool! Thanks!
Here's my seedlings from 16oz cups into #2's last night. They are in,
55% Pro-Mix HP , 45%/GreenTree Growers Blend. Amended using Grean Bicycles Ocean Bounty & feed with the Happy Endings Tea.
Went in looking rough but greening up fast.
First time ever using soil or growing organic. Very excited to do so & the owner Patrick tool the time to explain everything & answer all my questions in detail. Felt more comfortable giving it a go after speaking with him & seeing your grow so healthy, so easily. Thanks bro.!20200326_233750.jpg

Stacking pretty darn well there!
You went with a fluffier media make then your common, heavy, wet soil right? Cactus stuff n Peat from the DePot? Then amended accordingly?
My theory is if i make the soil using pro-mix/perlite, light ETW, then it should technically dry just as fast. Now, going organic you want the food in the pot to do its thing & breakdown over time. So by going a size bigger pot then usual should reduce watering by a day in flower & give the roots space to eat the food source soil & still providing adequate aeration. Whereas a rich store bought soil can be heavy & sort'ce muddy. Not the best place for roots to flourish imo.
I prob sound total amateur. Never grew in soil or organic. Pls, bare with me here! Lol!
Used to synthetic feeding with a lil organic additives all my growing life.
Grean Bicycles day 2ish since transplanting from 16oz cups. I swear they doubled in gearth & size but they prob haven't actually doubled. No transplant shock. They're loving life & quickly greening up from the 1.5 month abuse of the 16oz cup.. These in #2's are all new GPS seedlings.

Finally having some success with the aerocloner method thanks to project Humidifier!
Just couldn't manage water temps with the small res and big pump of the Clone King I tried previous.
Home made cloner holds plenty of water and sits right on the cool concrete so I actually had to add a water heater being winter. Hopefully no issues with water temps come summer.
Nothing touched these cuts except for Azos in the res - 0 Hormones :hump:

Oh wow. The blue and white article is some repurposed product? It looks very similar to spinning disk atomisers I saw another lifetime ago.
Does the it self feed from your rez, via the slender conical tube as it all spins? I am very excited.

Bingo, it is a cool mist humidifier with the fan portion of the spinning disc removed so it does't blow all of the mist (and res water) outside the chamber.
This way only the spinning tube is in the reservoir drawing up water while not adding the motors heat to the water.
I am still experimenting but it seems to be doing well on a 12 on / 12 off cycling of the mister. :peace:
