Buck's Bogart: The poor defenseless gay

i made this statement about something recently:

i would be all for the force of law to exist anyway

this sentiment is the newest topic of buck's bogart.

here is what one person, who i consider to be racist, has said about civil rights:

You on the other hand feel you need to protect the poor defenseless black because without you, businesses wouldn't be open to them, and they are not capable enough to take care of themselves.

if you have no force of law behind your cause, you are indeed defenseless.

currently, gays can be fired for simply being gay in many states throughout the nation. although some states have moved beyond such open bigotry, others have not.

i say that this is common sense federal law.

other people object against "central planners" who want to give those "poor defenseless gays" the right to "take care of themselves" against employers who would fire them simply for being gay, because gays are not "capable enough".

so what sayeth you?

should there be a federal standard that employers may not fire you for being gay? or should we go on letting gays get fired until georgia decides to move into the current century?

this extends to marijuana use as well ,, and employers asking for social media passwords, race, age, religion, you can put anything that can be discriminated in that blank , but if you hold up your end of the deal and do your job, no employer should be able to terminate your employment simply for who you are or for something you do at home on your personal time, and yes , i have no problem with a federal standard that holds violators accountable , because i am not convinced the confederate states will be evolving anytime soon ,, we can't wait for white trash to clean themselves up, they are so gross, until they lose power down there, not much will change

I think Bucks Bogart is stupid. Your name is already on the thread. If you want to create a personality go write a blog...

As for hiring and firing, I think states should be like Arizona with the right to work. Actually that really means the right to get fired. I dont believe anyone should have job protection.

do you believe that the federal government should protect black voters from jim crow laws?

or should we leave jim crow laws up to the states?
Dude, racism is dead... Let it go. We have an almost black president, we have black congressmen, we have black senators, doctors, professional athletes, movie stars, etc... The only entity opressing black people today is the government by telling them they are not good enough to make it without assistance.

The kids today are not worried about what color someone is unless they are in a street gang.

I believe the federal government should be almost completely dismantled.

Oh, in addition... I got fired today.

I received an e-mail from one of my clients that said my services were no longer required.

Should I need the government to step in even though I am straight? What if I was gay? What if I was black? What if I was a half black, half Hispanic lesbian midget? Should I need the government to step in on my behalf??

if and because are not the same word...replacing one for the other just makes you look even more ignorant :( fail , no wonder you were fired hahah

Right to work is a statute prohibiting labor unions and the like to form agreements of work between themselves and the employers. It has nothing to do with non unionized workers or in this case, gay individuals.

Your argument is moot, incorrect and irrelevant. Please go away.

You were fired because you are incompetent. End of story.

Dude, racism is dead... Are you fucking retarded? Clearly, you're white. Do you read the things people post in this section? On MLK Day, BigNBushy changed his avatar to a picture of James Earl Ray, with the words American Hero underneath. Did you see it when it was a basketball player trying to keep a bucket of chicken away from a black person, or how about when it was just a bunch of KKK members? Have you read any of his posts?

Did you see Coppers avatar when it depicted a black guy getting his face stomped into the concrete. Have you ever read any of his posts

Have you ever read Uncle Ben's posts?

Have you ever seen any of Dr.KKK (aka Galileo) pic posts? I know he totally isn't racist because his black friend told him niggers are like that everywhere.

Have you missed all the mud talk?

Shit, a group of white kids screamed nigger at me when I crossed the street on Tuesday, and I fucking live in San Diego.

I believe the federal government should be almost completely dismantled.

Of course you do.

Do you think they fired you because they saw your previous post?
Keeping playing your silly game, sport.

No, you're a little off of what "right to work" is.

There is no prohibition of unions in such states. And where unions exist in such states unions can have whatever agreement they can reach with the company.

Basically it's like this. Factory is uniomsized. In non right to work states, you have to join the union. In right to work states, you are not required to join the union, which basically means you aren't forced by the union to give them some of your money.

Non union jobs are treated the same in these states as they are in "closed shop" states.

Tell us more about the time you pulled a gun out in front of the Amtrak conductor and wasn't arrested.
Cool story, bro.
I will, once you show us proof of your million dollar business. I'd settle for proof you're not a child. Can you do that fin?

And once again, so we are clear. Did not pull the gun out in front of the conductor, the gun was already in my lap with an unloaded magazine in my hand. The intention was clear. And my instructions to put the gun away were also very clear. My explanation of this, for the 10th time is also very clear.

You have nothing Finthere, nothing to go on. So you distort facts.

Once you show us your million dollar business, then we can start talking.

Finthere, done that.

But it has nothing at all to do with at will employment which is what is being discussed.

An employer in ANY state can fire you at will, unless it violates human or civil rights. That is across the nation, not a state thing. I think what is going on here is that if you are gay and are fired because of it, you are not protected under the same laws.

To all the retards who want to comment on why I was fired. The guy had a pretty good reason...

He sold his house and was moving away...

So I am not going to hold it against him.

If I was a HR person and had to fire someone, I would tell them they performed poorly, no matter what the real reason.

It works the same way in the real world.

So a law prohibiting firing someone for being gay would be quite ineffective.

Funny, I was "let go" by one of my clients a few weeks back as well. They are going out of business and no longer require our services.

Guess I will go file for unemployment. Oh that's right, only employees are protected in this state, and the business owners take it in the ass and are left looking for more work on their own. Where is my security net and entitlement package? Someone, get me the government.
