ROFL, paranoia is a killer. A case for what? The OP did not receive anything, the shipper is technically the one who sent them and as such the one legally responsible. If there were anything they could do they would have done it and not sent him the standard form letter.
Yeh, he's good. I was just kidding. But, it is Florida, so would you be totally surprised if it did happen. I order from everywhere and use my debit card, but I believe a California address helps.

Ordered five seeds from Spain last month from herbies. Have been tracking order and on the 20th a long delay at ya customs. Package came today, it was opened and taped back together with US customs inspection tape. No seeds inside and a letter from the us department of agriculture. It said they confiscated and destroyed cannabis seeds. I haven’t heard anything els???? Also said that it’s a quarantine of all soil, seeds, livestock, meat etc. seed company seems to be cool and reimbursing me. Any thought if I should be concerned legally????
Don't worry about it. As everyone else says if any heat was to come from this you would already know. Have had buddies over the years get into bodybuilding/power lifting and whatnot and they would occasionally get the same confiscation letter on their roids/boner pills. I'm sure it would be a different story if they were buying caseloads.

Also, you're not really liable for inbound mail. If it were that easy you could anonymously fuck up anyones life by mailing them small bags of weed or even seeds.
