I'm in UK. Thanks, I'll have a look and see if there anything I can here that's just ca
Canna mono Ca.

trouble with hard water is you never know without finding an analysis data sheet.

what EC does your Tap water read? Mine is considered soft water and is 0.2EC. hard water is determined as 0.6EC and higher and unfortunately with that amount of dissolved salts already in the source water it’ll be pretty difficult to produce a grow without some form of problem without knowing the analysis of the source water.

My ppm is 563 so I think that makes the ec around 1.1? It's a lot :/ I've stopped nutrients at the moment so I can try get a hold of the problem. Do you have any suggestions of what I could do?

Yes with your EC that high in the U.K. you must be in an inner city dwelling.

that’s seriously high source water.

your source water is almost at high in EC as I feed when I mix my nutes. 1.2-1.4EC.

You won’t get hold of the problem until you switch your source water.

Couple of options.

go to a hydro/aquarium store and ask if they sell RO water?

go to hydro or Aquarium store And ask how much their RO systems are.

Cool I’m trying to get better and I don’t mind criticism and open to suggestions
I never criticise those asking for advice with sick plants.

I do however criticise those who are dishing out advice with plants that look like they’ve been grown by a total novice.

I've found some ro water being sold 12p per litre at a local aquarium shop.
If I use RO water would I need to start using calmag as well? Do you have any experience with RO water?
Yes you would need to add back between 0.2 and 0.4EC of calmag to stabilise the pH of the water and add back enough Ca and Mg.

Thanks for all your help. I'm gonna give RO a try and I've picked up some calmag
Sorry for using EC but it’s the only measurement I use as ppm needs to be known if you’re using .5 or .7 calibration etc.

EC is more universal.

500ppm @.5cal = 1.0EC
700ppm @.7cal = 1.0EC
1.0EC = 1.0EC

so you see how ppm can be flawed if all the variables aren’t known.

That's alright. I have a TDS & EC meter but it seems to only show ppm and TDS so just converted it.

Hey, sorry I have one more question for you. When I get the water, do you think it'd be a good idea to treat the water how I want it and do a little flush? Or should I just start watering? It's possible I'm not going to be able to get the water until next Saturday, and at that point I'll only have about 2.5/3 weeks left til harvest.

Treat it how you want to.

your plant looks like it has a lot more growth left to do in flower.

out of interest your 600w LED is that true watts? Because your plant looks like it’s being grown with about 75w of LED.

What is your light drawing from the wall as far as actual watts used?

It's 277w from the wall. I've lowered it recently to just over 12" from the canopy. It started week 6 of flower on Thursday

Then there is something up with either your light or definitively your water source.

This is day 51 of 12/12 with a photo under 400w HPS.

The light I'm using is brand new so I'm gonna say from what you've said and what I've read it's water for sure. Probably stunted it with too many nutes too now I'm learning more about it. Nevermind. It's all a learning curve.
