These are a waste of money unless you are making small batches and want little cleanup. Cannabutter is dead simple to make. All you have to do is simmer it for a few hours and stir it once an hour or so. If you can follow a recipe then you can make cannabutter. I make a huge batch about once every 10-12 months.

UPDATE:
I've reheated the cannabutter and placed it in my glass measuring cup (dont judge lol)
I've attached a picture of it! It's going to chill in the fridge now. Let me know what yall think or any further advice.
I'm new to this, so thanks for the patience! :cool:IMG_0142.jpeg

I bought my wife one a few years ago for her birthday (which ironically, is today, 4/20). We love it.

However, I would *highly* recommend learning how to make butter/oil from scratch using the stove method before buying one. Learning the hows and whys of making canna-anything is the only way to understand what's actually happening, and how the end product should look and behave.

That still looks very emulsified. I don't think you're going to be able to revert this to something reasonable. Just use it in a recipe as is, do some proper research, and make a new batch.

I've looked into the more expensive machines. I just wanted to use my magic chef to get used of things before I purchase the big boys. I've done the stove top method and it worked fine. I just don't like the fact my whole house smells like weed lol. I'm definitely going to use whatever I can from this. Hopefully theres some THC somewhere left.

My first time how much kieff for a 7oz ofunsalted butter. I do my second round of chemo next week. I am a true newbie, my apologies in advance for stupid questions. I have 12 grams at the moment.

It’s not a stupid question. I’ve never made butter with kief, but I found a recipe for you. It looks like you only need 1g for every half pound of butter. You could make it stronger, though, if you want to be able to get a higher dose from less butter.

Or maybe you just suck at sarcasm. I’m annoying? Jesus, man, you couldn’t even follow a recipe and got annoyed by people who were trying to help you.
No, you just suck at giving advice. You obviously haven’t learned anything. Being an ass won’t get you far. Just because your saying “advice” in between the BS doesn’t mean it’s warranted.
I followed plenty of recipes and gotten things right. I got the RIGHT answers from others. Thank god for them! You were the only person to annoy me.

I thought you put me on ignore? Seems to me you just like to argue.

Some part of me hopes this thread never dies.

I still don't quite understand what this weird contraption is? Basically a coffeemaker that melts butter and percolates it through the material to be extracted?

PS: Ah, I see it now. Marketing makes it look highly necessary. Actual machine looks like a cleaner version of my slow cooker, spoon, and cheesecloth.
