Hey catt.. Missed yuh like a sister but I have to voice a tiny bit of concern. Your girls look great but I do want to warn you a little bit about the jiffy pellets. Their PH is about 3.5 I think and they have nothing to offer in the way of nutes. I also think I remember that before the great RIU crash of 2012 that someone mentioned making sure the Jiffy's were pretty dry before transplanting them. They also suggested removing the webbing if you could. I have used Jiffy's before have pulled the plants at the end of the season and the roots had been constricted. I have to honestly say though that I have NO idea what the consensus is on the peat seed starters but just though I would throw that out ther pal..
:D
You know I care so I need to offer a tiny bit more "advise". If your girls are healthy when you transplant DON"T bury any stem. They will in all likelihood form roots on the buried stem but they can also rot. Some plants like tomatoes and potatoes have little hairs on the stems which are called primordial roots. They like being buried but weed is not the same. You could end up shocking them and (ARG) producing a hermie! I'm just saying catt that if the bubbles are strong and stout when you transplant don't bury any stem. If they are tall and leggy then go ahead but it worries me
:peace::peace::peace:
Onward to victory. The way I figure it you will be havesting somewhere in the middle of MAY? If that's right at least you shouldn't have to worry about keeping them cool. It will be hot up in the Northwoods for to long but mud seasons gonna be short and the blackfly crop should not be a bad one. Rock on:D:D:D

The world as we know it has clearly gone mad. Nothing is the same as it was a week ago. Lost and wandering the pages of RIU. I've lost touch with so many plants and people. Who am I why am I here??? Should I buy a weed grinder. I've never had a weed grinder.

Hey nice grow. Im on day 6 with my auto Bubbles from narvana
and they came in the same way in the gloves. I started 10 and 9 popped pretty much 24 hours after put in the the lil plug. Is this the first time with the bubbles? This is my first grow in general and nervous but i think thats normal. Do you use soil or hydro. I Have mine going in hydro next transfer. Any tips about lighting sush as distances from plants during what weeks? Thanks for any help and wish you luck with this grow.

Resubbed of course! :D

Where did the like button go?? And why does it say you have 0 posts? Haha weird
Hey, it says you only have 26! Strange... I had about 50 posts before the crash, then the other day I was down to 20-something. Now I can't get any worse! :(

The admins must be doing something, because this doesn't have anything to do with the crash.

Fed!!! I'm spooked big time. Your post count is at one so why do I feel like this strange deja vu type thing going on. It's like we have met but not formally.:-?

You know man I got a bad feeling.. A real bad feeling.

hey buddy...I missed seein ya on the spring pics thread :( I was waitin for you to chime in here with some good ol' gardener's wisdom. I'm so glad I read this post before transplanting the babies.....I knew right when I looked under those pods and saw roots it was TIME! I totally was gonna take off all that netting crap anyways once I saw it had nutrients that supposedly broke down over a slow period of time. I waited until they were kinda damp but dry (if that makes sense) and ever so gently tore the netting and all came right off leaving the roots dangling nice and clean about 1" or so. I didn't end up burying very much stem simply cuz you scared me :o....lol! Nosa, they were nice and strong and stout like you said, so it was smooth sailing there. I just rested the roots in their fluffy moist soil and lightly tapped some dirt over then watered a teenie bit, using my ladle I never use, a mixture of distilled water and 1/4 tsp of superthrive mixed with 1/2 oz seaweed per gal of water. I gave em each about 3 tblsps...lol! They look real nice and green with a tiny pink tinge to the centers, maybe they are ALL pheno's...that would be SWEET :)
No hermies for me....HELL NO!!! I bleached EVERYTHING and I swear not to change a thing. I sealed up all nooks and crannies with weatherstripping and provided fresh air 24/7. They WILL NOT go hermie....and I repeat....WILL NOT!!! LOL ;) Not sure how long I'm gonna veg yet? I was thinking about 4 weeks, which would leave me around mid June. I think I'll be OK this year.....we only had about 5 days of over 80 degree temps last year in July and Aug....I'm literally on the mountain....luckily :)
I betcha winter hasn't even come yet....still much snow to go. This weather is all just a tease...I just know it!!! Mud season is CRAZY right now....going to the car wash every other day! And oh boy I sure hope the blackfly season is not bad this year. I'm gonna have my compost bin right near my door :o

Oh poor Rottedroots....it's ok, we shall start over again, no need to worry. It's like you said...if they wanna mess with us here on our little corner of the cfl forum them it clearly shows something is wrong. I have a few suspicions of what went down and I'm pretty sure WE don't have anything to do with it. No worries.....when life hands you lemons?
I own a grinder....I don't use to it roll mine but the hubby prefers it when he rolls. But when he wants to smoke a nice flavorful bone, he asks me to roll it...the old fashioned way....HA!

I almost forgot the update...lol

transplanted to 3 gal pots, took of the jiffy pod netting gently and placed them in their barely moist dirt. All of their taproots were poking out of the bottom and I was tender enough not to disturb or tear any of them. I hear that the netting has nutrients in it which I don't want any extra of as I will providing them with all they need hopefully with the Neptune's Harvest line. Their stems were nice and strong and not stretchy at all so I didn't bury any stems....thanks again Rotted ;) I fed mixed up the seaweed as the feeding instructions say on the MM feeding schedule provided by Neptune's. It was 1/2oz of seaweed per gal water. I used distilled water for now and threw in a 1/4 tsp of superthrive. Each baby bubble had about 1 scoop from the soup ladle. I will be feeding this in the middle of week 1-2 minus the superthrive.

I hope this Neptune's Harvest stuff works well cuz it's really fun to be able to mix up a different batch of something new every week. Here's some pics right after transplant. Oh...and I added 4 26w 2700k's a bit higher up to mix up the spectrum a little, don't know if it's helping but it sure looks pretty :) And my trusted aquarium light (which is AWESOME).

Looking good calii,
They all look nice and happy
Just a matter of time before they really start to take off for ya :)

And I like to mix up the spectrum a bit too
Seems like the plants like it more
Compared to just having all one spectrum

As much as I would like to believe that winter is over, this is VT. We're probably going to get 4' overnight in a few weeks and it won't go away until May.
