My fault.I was only speaking of the screw in led light bulbs. 9-15 watt range. I didn't look up the bulb you referenced I assumed it was the same type of bulb
The ones I have are 9 watt but it's a filament type not a chip on board type. It's really unlike other led styles I see and higher lm/watt for off the shelf. And they held up under testing really well. ~100~ watts of these in the power strips did a 3x3 veg quite well of nearly 30 1.5 ft tall from 6 inch rooting clone to first transplant, moved to flower at 2nd transplant.

Well I dont believe my light is weak thanks tho I have optimal veg growth everyday at least a inch or 2 every day and I will be getting a led
"Weak" lighting is a hard concept to fully understand sometimes and the concept can change for differant people.

Allow me to explain a little and maybe my concept will help you get my meaning.

Is a shotgun strong or weak?
Well, it is very strong of course! But no it is actually weak, a load of birdshot is a diffuse impact and it must be somewhat close, and is able to be stopped by objects more easily.

Compare to a rifle of similar powder load..

That rifle shot is going to rip right through and keep on going.

This is really what I mean by saying cfl is weak lighting, it's hard to fully give the plant the light it wants.

Your doing a great job with the cfls dont get me wrong, they are close to the plant and its growing well. Kudos for using then correctly.
However this is very expectable results for using cfls and the way the grow a plant, especially on a 18/6 light time.
Whenever I or my friends use cfls we ran into this and changing to 24/0 results in a more normal grow pattern.

Not trying to be a dead horse or anything just trying to better explain myself, and my way of looking at the plant.
Theres another wrong with it growing like that either if you want it to grow like that, it wont hurt a single thing
