Yeah that is truly very sad. Though apparently she had two brothers and so at least she is not alone. Hopefully the two of them can help each other.

eh, the univers has a way of workin out, its all about energy, magnets bro, you and lav created somthing great, but both have somthing different to bring to the table, your daughter will be wll rounded...but, back on topic, a true tragety, makes me wonder what human is, a state of mind, physical being, matter...

Sickening and tragic are understatements. Inconceivable how anyone could do this. Just cowardice to the extreme. Words can't describe the pit I felt when the news broke I can only imagine how u parents must have felt watching thinking it hit just a little too close to home and those poor families forced to grieve and mourn during "the most wonderful time of the year" the sight of the still images are almost too much to bare. Seeing children who shouldn't know what violence is fully recognizing and reacting to the gravity of events that unfolded in front of them. To be exposed to such a degree of senseless violence is the worst part of it all. The child that has to live with the memories of friends past and the images of that day. Maybe we could all start a foundation for the survivors?

if it were me... I would want people to just leave me alone about it all... would want peace to mourn and only deal with those closest to me.... the rest of the world wouldnt exist to me, I wouldnt exist... the absence of that which matters most is an all consuming void of question and no answer.... sadness hurt and loss to no end... just those closest to me, wouldnt want the world constantly reminding me...

how did he get into the school? wasn't it locked? not that a lock will keep out a madman but it seems like he just waltzed in.


i remember being in elementary school in the late 80s-early 90s and sometimes a teacher would get a "visitor" and it would be some student of theirs from a bunch of years ago coming in to say hi. i went back to that same school around '01 to see a teacher that was retiring, and was able to waltz right in and roam the hallways and didn't even get any suspicious looks. 2 years later, in '03, i returned again to see another teacher and some new renovations and the lobby door was locked. i looked through the window and didn't see anyone i recognized and there was this whole protocol for visitors posted and a uniformed security guard so i just left. i remember thinking to myself, "damn, shit's different now" and it gave me a sad feeling to think that such security was necessary just 7 years after i graduated.

that was almost 10 years ago. i'll admit to not having all the details here but it seems suspicious that there wasn't even enough security to stop a random person from getting to a packed classroom today, and that bothers me.

I don't think the elementary school I went to have security in any way shape or form to this day. Except for he dare cop from time to time. Even still one cop would need to be in the first room the shooter showed up at to stop the rampage. And there aren't enough cops or security guards to put one in every classroom. Sad as it is, that's pretty unrealistic.

i cant help but think this was all staged just so they cant take guns from the public so when we really need to protect ourselves we cant cuz of fucks like deez
