Curing small batch homegrown question

The result of my grow this year. got maybe like 5-6 oz been in the jars for a week now been burping twice a day I also have boveda packets and oxygen absorbers in em. Not sure how good the packets are tho but the buds seem pretty dry and have a sorta spicy aroma. Took some of it for my day to day head stash, what is pictured is gonna get stored in the black mylar smellproof bag long term.

Do I need to cure in the jars much longer before putting in the bag? Is the bag even a long term storage solution? I thought freezing was ok until I read otherwise.

It's "medicinal" if the label on the bag says so, right officer?

I store mine in jars like yours, with a boveda pack in each one. Maintaining 62% relative humidity. I didn't store them in a dark place out of the sunlight. This works for me.

I'm not sure what the relative humidity of the packs is I just found these in some dog treat bags and pill bottles. I can't find anywhere that sells them except online. If a week of jarring and burping is enough I'll just bag it I just wanted it all in one place or I could keep curing in the jars for awhile. Like I said it seems pretty dry ATM.

I bought the bag last year to store another harvest, makes it easier to move into apartments etc with stash without risk of anything smelling like weed

If the bag is airtight, I would still keep a boveda pack in it. Only way I know how to keep relative humidity consistent. You may be using a decadent pack. Which absorbs moisture.

Its been in the jars for a week now, I've burped twice a day. Honestly it seems pretty dry. You think I can bag it or it needs to cure in mason jars longer? I don't know what humidity level these bovedas are if any, if I can I'll get my hands on the ones that maintain 62% humidity but idk

Boveda packs are meant to maintain humidity, Not to aid in drying/curing.

Get yourself some inexpensive hygrometers and actually monitor the humidity.

Yes but at what relative humidity ?

The majority of the cure takes place as the buds slowly dry down to your target rh. And stops around 55%.

Got this @ Walmart dot com. Cheaper than bovedas but same thing. Another week in jars then in bag with these and should be golden methinks. Its a lot better than the shit I grew last year in terms of flavor and smoke quality so that's good.
