Better pics of room cleaned up and dialed in. Here's some pics of the seedlings. There about 1.5" tall now. This light is just killing it.

Currently have it mounted to the ceiling, about 7', from what I've read they recommend 3.5 to 4' above canopy. A bud of mine leaves them mounted to the ceiling and let's the plants grow to them, says he has no problems.

Ok so checked on them this morning, the growth is rediculous lol. First set of leaves are really filling in. No sign of roots dropping yet, but hopefully soon.
I'm running dm zone, I ran 30ml at first. My question is do I add more? Or does it stay good for a set period of time. Plan on running water for 14 days at a time before full change outs. Any input appriciated thanks.

It's pretty much plug and play right? Unplug my ballast, mount, plug new DE in?
How is the heat ?

They are like any other grow light. Have to run the ballast that comes with the reflector though. They are extremely hot. Buddy has 6 knock off gavitas in one room and his 2.5 ton dedicated ac is barely enough to keep the room around 85 degrees in the summer with his co2 he's plays hell in the winter cause he can't run his ac.

If your referring to the gavita pro e series, yes they are plug and play. I'm running mine at 1k at the moment and my room stays at a solid 75f at most.They run surprisingly cool. been running all day and you can put the side of your face on the ballast. My solis tek matrix i had would get super hot. Using an 8" hyperfan at almost lowest setting and pulling air out my room and pushing outside. Very quiet and works very well. Im sure in the summer time i will need to run an ac, loving the winter months.

On gavitas website they recommend 4,000 btu of cooling per 1,000w. That is rediculously low. These knock off brand my buddy has have a hard time keeping cool with a 30,000 btu air conditioner. I so wish I had the headroom to run these damn things. My next run is gonna be scrog'd. I'm gonna see if I can manage to keep at least 30" of canopy space. If I can I'm gonna buy 14 of these mofo's. If i have too ill turn the power down a hair lol.

They make a 750e series for people with low ceilings, they are a little more exspensive lol. About 505$ out the door down here.

Was just surfing the web and mammoth grow tents and gavita teamed up and designed a grow tent to run 2 gavita pro 1000e's !!! They made it to match the exact foot print of gavitas New Sr reflector inserts!! Tent is called mammoth gavita G2 5.9'x7.22'x8' tall. They also make a G1 for 1 light also. Pretty bad ass.

Ok so the seedlings broke ground on 1/21, this is there progress as of 4 days. There is one sloth, hopefully she catches up. Still no sign of roots hopefully soon.

Did a water change, drained system. Sucked out remaining water with a stinger wet/dry vac. Dumped 18 gallons of ro in the system. Added 20ml aquaflakes, 20ml calimagic, 30ml DM zone. Phd to 5.8, ppms are 170, water always 65f.
The seedlings are working on there second set of leaflets. Letting the system circulate overnight than top feeding them in the am. After I see roots drop will add 12 more gal ro to system.

They responded well to the feeding, thinking a week until roots drop through netpots and explode.

yeah these seedlings are growing crazy. Can't wait for roots to hit water. This light is killing it. Picking up another here soon. Want to get 4 in total. After this run expanding system to 12, 13gal ropak buckets under 4 gravitas. Going to run them at 600, 750w each.
Been reading up on the top booster, dropping it and getting top shooter. Dropping dm zone and getting roots excel, nitrogen boost, algen extract here soon.
