Hey guys I skipped 4 pages I am guessing its just a flushing debate. Just meet in the middle and do a 7 day flush. I would say most strains are around 60-70 days.

Sorry brother but can't promote something I feel is wrong. This is a forum for knowledge so there is no meeting in the middle on this debate, you either believe in flusing or you dont. Now that said it is up to everyone to do their research and decide for themselves. The debate will continue, I think the key is to accept open information exchange and agree to disagree when opions vary. I am pretty sure we are all after the same thing in the end, the best plants we can produce. :peace:

The way I see it, even if its heavy in N its still better than the cartel brick weed we smoked as kids lol.

On my last flower cycle. I flushed literally 8 plants out of 50ish for almost 2 weeks. My normal routine is feed 6 days straight 1 day straight all the way to harvest. Let's just say I will never flush at 2 weeks again those 8 plants had the smallest but still decent buds weigh less. As for smoke they were literally the same. Smooth. Lol

It depends on the relative humidity of your room. You don't want the stems to snap, but almost. Then you jar and burp until you reach your target. But there are tons of people over in Harvest and Curing that have this down to a science.

Just because there are people who believe in something doesn't make it real. I'll stick with science. Flushing does nothing but starve the plant. If that's what you want to do they are your plants feel free.
"Science" where are the references? Where are the case studies? Nothing to show for it

Bully come on be reasonable here

It was only one experiment, using only one strain, grown one way in one medium. More research is needed.

Am I wrong?

I'm not stubborn, there is just nothing concrete to prove this.
I swear you coco growers are worse than Christians some times
There's nothing concrete about flushing either, and when presented with evidence you just say it was only 1 strain like that matters? So you're saying different strains need to flushed and some don't?

Yes, if you're doing a study ALL variables matter. I tell you right now my man, there's a lot more info about flushing then there isn't. If this wasn't the case we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Soil grower here....flushing is nonsense @Mirrordawn. You were given one link of many out there showing that. I understand the broscience is strong here, but a bit of research will show it’s unnecessary.
Ahhhh 1 link from 1 company, THEN IT MUST BE TRUE! Please can we not have a discussion without insults being hurled out? That's the one thing I've noticed about this community. It's only okay if you agree with everyone but god forbid you have might have a different opinion than the other guy. Whats the point of an online canvas of communication if I log in to just blindly agree with everyone. I'm not sold on "Zero flush" because the evidence is very lacking.

Where did I state that was science? Please quote me. That was an anecdotal taste test. By science I was referring to plant physiology. But as I stated before these are your plants do with them as you will. As for me I've run several clones of different strains flushed some and didn't flush the others. I've known others who have done the same. Other than a small plant, which I don't mind because I do not sell, I strain/pheno hunt for pain relief strains, I breed. Neither I nor the friend I've shared with have noticed any difference.

Snip......... Please can we not have a discussion without insults being hurled out? .....snip....
I agree with that.
