My feeling is that a (very) average person like me won't benefit from the "spectrum snob" boards that are supposed to come out, and I really liked the Diablos because the spectrum looked good and it sounds cool along with the efficiency and stuff lol, but I am sure you are experienced enough to reap the benefits of a better spectrum man. Good to know these boards are quality and have lasted you and that I didn't buy my bf junk!

Not really a snob like some other growers are ( insert @ here:) ) but just looking to change up some things. Might be a blessing if they are brainstorming their DIY line .

Just when I get an itch to build something I just gotta do it.

Well, I think from the sounds of it that you're in for a real treat then. I have no idea how the spectrum can be "better" than the 650R lab report according to modern standards, but I am still pretty ignorant on modern lighting. Fluence makes something that is supposed to be super hot, so maybe it's going to be along those lines with more far red than the Diablos at the cost of a bit of efficiency.

Same thing happened to me when I wanted to build an 8 board QB 324 light, I got 4 then they stopped making them.... I'm going to run the 2 Diablos with a pair of QB 324 to get started lol.

Don't think he meant you, i think HLG mentioned something about an up coming "spectrum snob" board

Oh yeah, thanks for clarifying for me, HLG used that term in kind of a playful way and I was definitely NOT being negative to you man, you clearly have a lot more experience than me and I'm still trying to learn. Sorry if it caused any confusion.

I just bought 3 qb324 v1 directly from hlg. Honestly was looking for the v2s since I already have 6 of them, but it all worked out.

Two meanwell HLG 320h 54a, one for each group of 3, that's for the qb324 v2s. One meanwell HLG 320h 2800 for the 3 qb324 v1. They weren't all wired in the picture. The 600h is for 4 qb96s that aren't hooked up yet
Very nice! That's a hell of a setup. I have the 320 2800AB for 2x648(turned down of course), let's hope I can follow a simple three wire series diagram and not blow the boards like people said was being done a little while ago! Hopefully one day I can have a setup like yours and get as experienced as you guys here!
