If you're exhausting outside 24/7 if will definitely lower RH.
I'm exhausting right back into the room. The air gets recirculated by the central AC so all the air in the whole house gets circulated and filtered out thru the exhuast filters and the central AC. Most likely the central AC is drying out most of the RH so I need to replace it with a humidifier. Hopefully that will fix it.

I'm liking this Pulse Pro so far :eyesmoke:

Back to HLG stuff.....like my Diablo and how I'm going to get my VPD out of the 2's and down where it needs to be. I need some decent humidifiers for an average sized room with 4 tents in it.

I'm running 83 to 87F with RH averaging around 36%. I keep my exhaust fans on 24/7 which is probably why the lower RH. Hopefully a decent humidifier helps :eyesmoke:

Sounds like you'd need something capable of re-humidifying the whole houses air/environment then...no?

Edit: They make whole house humidifiers that connect to your central hvac area and you supply them with a small 1/4" supply of water off a nearby water pipe.
If you didn't have the whole central AC deal I'd suggest checking out "House Of Hydro" atomizers. What size room?

I have 4 tents in a 15 x 12 room and 2 tents in a 12 x 10 room. I think a decent sized 1 gallon humidifier in the middle of each room might do the job. Set it to 60% and let it run. It shouldn't take more than a few hours to see if it works. I can always bring them back :eyesmoke:

My issues with Temp and RH just got better. I'm still reading up on how to use the Pulse Pro. I had the meter facing up horizontally above the top of the canopy. This is a NO NO according to the website. I should only do that when taking ppfd readings.

So I hung the meter from a chain and placed it right below the canopy vertically. The temps plummeted and the RH went up. The new VPD reading is now 1.5!!

So tomorrow I will go buy a few decent hygrometers and hang them in the same place I had the Pulse. I really only wanted the Pulse Pro for PPFD readings. I hope I didn't spend too much just for a Par meter

You mean like these ones? https://www.amazon.com/Ideal-Air-Humidifier-Portable-Industrial-Covers/dp/B01DL5DG1K/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=industrial+humidifier&qid=1622329944&sr=8-6

That's good man. I just moved a temp/rh sensor to "just inside" the canopy as well, it changed the reading a bit for sure. I put something above the actual sensor (on the cord) to block/reflect direct light and heat.

I don't own one, but I think that Pulse Pro is a great value tool, isn't it? Because doesn't it provide spectrum analysis as well?

That is one expensive humidifier!

Ya so far I really like the Pulse Pro. It's really good if you go away from your grow a lot and have a smart phone. I don't leave my grow much nor do I have a smart phone. So these options are great but I don't really need them.

I'd rather have less expensive sensors being monitored all day with a controller and having one meter that does PPFD readings only.

Yea, that's just a listing for name-sake. Ignore the price, though those ones are pretty expensive, for sure. Unlike the atomizer style, these don't really have consumable parts (like discs) and stuff.

Maybe they've improved, but i had them tell me once they'd send me new leds to solder on the board......... and I've got two dead Mars lights they jerked me around on so don't try to convince me to do business with them! This is why I went looking for a GOOD light! Oh not to mention the time I needed a light quick but had little money s I bought a cheap light from ebay. I opened it up and it had non-enclosed drivers, and wiring with bare twisted wire connections!!!! .
And By saying Chinese, I'm refering to the products origin, not the people.
Ohh and btw, I know someone who has had his wonderful new Mars Hydro light replaced three times for burnt out leds. Yeah so tell me they are using top bin Samsung LEDs.

Please elaborate on your “typical Chinese attitude”. Is it where they give opinions on something they never personally done?

Mars gives out free lights on here everyday, but they would have a problem backing a warranty?

and you have no personal experience only hearsay? Wow just wow :wall:

You ever try to warranty a cheap, Chinese made light? you can search the forums and find many examples of the BS. There are many examples of companies wanting to just send you parts for you to fix it, offering excuses why it's not their fault and as I mention in the last post, they've even wanted people ( happened to me ) solder LEDs to the board!

From what I've heard, Mars warrant policy seems to have improved over the years. Their quality doesn't seem to have. Go ask them about the driver failures on their newest lights.

If your happy with middle of the road qaulity, they by all means, buy from Mars Hydro. I went to HLG for lights when I saw the quality of their product. When I read what Stephen and others in the company wrote here. they've demonstrated their dedication to building a top quality product and to customer service. Does Mars post actual lab tests of every light they build? I personally have experienced their outstanding customer service. It's one of the reasons I took this rep position.

And my intent was never to denigrate Chinese people, it's was just a statement of the overall low quality of the many generic LED grow lights
( and I include Mars, Vipar, etc in this category ) made by Chinese companies. Maybe I could have worded my statement better, so for that, I apologize. However, it does not change the facts that for every good Chinese designed and built lamp, there are 10 that are junk.

Ohh, and check and see how many of those lights have actual safety certifications...... most do not! So if you see a light with UL, etc certification stickers on it, go look the light up with the certification agenciesI'm willing to bet 90% of them have never been tested.

Maybe you should focus more on the positives of your company and product and stop bashing other paid advertisers of this site and an entire country of people.

Are your lights 100% American parts? If not you’re kinda hypocritical in your mindset, no?

Junk is junk and I call it like I see it, it has nothing to do with people. I'm not in their thread trolling, I suggest you do the same.
