DIY with Quantum Boards

what driver do u have hooked up to each one?
I don't have them hooked up to anything right now, the driver is now running the light it's supposed to, and those other lights are collecting dust... I bought what I thought was the same driver that goes with the 240w rspec kit, but no go... Like I said before I could have bought a one piece fixture with the money I spent trying to find the right driver, and the money I spent on all of these lights... I'm getting good grows, but I believe that they could be much better... Enough with the rambling...

None of these work with either sets of lights View attachment 4999888View attachment 4999890
ok I think I know what's been your problem. you got the C series drivers which are constant current. Those are for using in series. From your pic of your QB boards you have them connected in parallel! That's why they won't work.

The C2100 will work for the 4 QB120s if you connect them in series and u will get 240-250w.

The C1750 will work for the 2QB288s in series but you are only going to get @170w that way. You would need to add a 3rd QB and then it will output 250W.

FALSE!!! The driver in the top pic is the only one that works both sets of lights
That's because you are set up to run your 54v boards in parallel, and that top driver is the correct voltage for that setup. The other drivers run higher output voltages, so you would need to reconfigure your boards in series for them to work with those other drivers.

When in doubt, check the specs:

@Frank Nitty here is how i would wire up the QB120 fixture in series using your current setup to keep the wiring simple. You just need to make sure the + / - are in the proper positions so u might need to flip the 2 'bottom' boards so they are setup like in this diagram.

red is driver +
black is driver -
gray is wires connecting the boards together in series
