Grew 6 more just like her! I'll be making mostly coconut oil for several people with MS ( my lady included ) and a couple of family members. I now have a Dabpress and will make CBD rosin to test! I like to vape a bit, and this is a tasty strain!

Heatsink USA profile used here needs some airflow. Fins too close and not ideal for complete passive.
Reaches 60C board temps at full power Ta 20C.

2x QB288/QB304 are supposed to be able to light a 3x3ft2 for flowering.
How well does it do this?
Should I do 2xQB in 3x3 or 4xQB in 4x4?

You use either boards ( 288 or 304 ) .... even the 324 and 120’s.

2 board setup is a popular choice for 2x2 or 3x3 . I use a 4 panel rig in a 3x3 and get great results.

No need to make megawatt rigs for your space. 4 panels can light to 5x5 space easily.

All grow well under the different spec choices ....
I run 3500k in 3x3 ( seed to harvest ) and am happy with results.

I also run a dual 288 ( 260w kit ) in 3000k 90cri and it veggs and flowers perfectly.
I add a 4000k panel as supplemental panel ...
It grows better veg stage plants ( more blue in it ) but can flower very well too.
The colo4 is what the spectrum is at high noon.

Funny you are talking about real reasons. I had my grandpa call me today saying he was out of cookies and was wondering when my wife can make some more. He eats half a cookie and puts some tincture on it also. Said he slept 10 hours the other night which he hadn’t done in 40 years or so. I thought that was pretty cool!

I make RSO on occasion and tincture drops ( glycerin) for meds or drinks , etc.
Discrete and easy.
Last brownie batch was wayyyyy too strong. And got too dizzy and nauseous but it was fun. Lol.

If I go with a slate 2 heatsink, should I mount the driver to the heatsink (I've heard this grounds the driver), or should I place the driver outside of the tent?
Am I at risk of shock if the driver isn't mounted to the heatsink?

RSO is just evaporating the everclear out of the tincture right? Is there a way to make dabs from tincture? Or like crumble rso? Trying to figure out a different way to make dabs.

You don't need heatsinks on the QB120. Just mount to some angle and you're good to go.

Great! And one more thing: Constant voltage or current for my driver?
I plan on hoping up both parallel. I don't see any advantages in using series wiring.

I started growing when my lady's Recurring/Relapsing MS converted to progressive. She lost her job as an Xray tech because of her losing her ability to walk without a walker as her balance is gone and one leg won't bend. I did research for a month before I discussed it with her. Cannabis halted the progression by 95%. And aqua aerobics has improved her walking considerable. Now her son has MS also. We know other people with this horrible disease. Many MS victims die when they lose their ability to swallow and they aspirate in their sleep....

This is what we should all be about, helping others who can benefit from this medicine!
