DIY with Quantum Boards

I finally put together a frame for 4 qb288 v1s that I bought up when they were cheap. I've been a busy guy, haven't updated anything in a long time...
These plants were under the 4 qb 132's in my profile Pic which I chopped the frame on to make it fit in one of my 3x3s instead of a 2x4. They are two weeks into flower now... can't wait to see how they turn out.
I'm considering getting some qb288 bspecs for one of my 2x4 tents but wow are they expensive.View attachment 5019598
At least someone got to use theirs!!! I'm living through them!!! Happy and sad at the same time...

I thought the constant current drivers would push more juice than they are... turned all the way up they are only pushing 269 watts... each driver is pushing two of the light panels

I was hoping for at least 315 watts in here... I'm not sure if I just need to add some supplemental lighting or what... I thought for sure 4 288's would be plenty of light for a 3x3

Edit:
I just ordered 10 of the eb gen3 strips to supplement my current lights, figured I'd put 4 on this light with the 288s and 6 on my light with the 132s... gotta figure out what drivers I need for those now... hopefully them being quite a bit weaker doesn't mean they need to be a lot closer and won't be just added to the current frames...

QB96 rig

Decided to pull all flowering plants and move them into a room with a hastily constructed frame to support QB225 and another
QB 288 board ( Total 350ish ) over those for a short time until I can continue to throw kids shit out.

NOW ….

At the time I basically ran out of room with BERTA fully taking over 3x3 tent .. so I had to give the ethos and master Kush a better chance at veg. Now the QB96 / Sunblaster rig is doing VEG duty . Ethos is getting some training ( beetle juice shape :bigjoint: ) with the lowers and mid areas standing at attention. Master Kush just got bent over and will get some silica to Jack up the emerging stalk.
Sunblaster is running Agromax Pure Par T5 HO bulbs with the Quantums .

I have a 240h-54b and I’m currently running three CXM 22s with it. Anyone ever switched from these cobs to quantum boards? Cobby tells me I could run 4 RSPEC QB with this driver. Experiences?

that's a great driver for the QB 288. 60 watts per board will make a nice, low per light!

Hello!

Im a long time lurker and now ready to jump in heads first. I have a 5x5 that I want to light up with 6 qb96. I would like to achieve about 30-40w per sqft. What driver I need to buy to get t 30-40 per sqft.

Thanks!

At 960w for 5x5 … you would be 38+ watts per square ft.

( 6 QB )

Or 3 QB 96 on HLG-600H-54 EACH in parallel x 2 for balls to the wall power. Approx. 1200
Or 3 QB 96 on HLG -480 for one rig …. and other 3 QB96 on that HL600 . Approx . 1080
Or 3 QB 96 on HLG-480H-54 x 2 ( probably what you are looking for )

Drivers available at Mouser / Arrow etc.

Hmmmmm , now you got me thinking about a new build. Lol.

There is a shit load of config for these.
