Dry fertilizers in Canada

Plant prod Mmj package is a sham obviously sold to dummies because it says MJ on it.

I had been using plant prod hydroveg for years with cal nit and kno3. Shit works fucking great. Super cheap. Huge bags.

** not gunna lie. Didn’t read whole thread.

/edit:
I love this shit. Super stable. Holds ph firmly with only slight up or down to add from pool shock in res. Only cal nit gets pulled in flower with kno3 addition.
I can only go on what my customers think and results they get. If they're buying Plant Prod MJ set over GH and I make 1/5 of the profits so bit it at least they are producing and staying in business and keep coming back to me. I rarely get customers that bring me pics of their products to show off and be proud off. I hear guys telling me how they get $1800 for their stuff blah blah and I always want to see this killer weed yet even when I offer to buy it no one ever brings in any so when several people give me feed back and show me the final results I tend to believe them especially when they keep buying the product. Is the 6 parts MJ an up sell, sure, is it WAY cheaper then water+salts in a bottle fuck yah.

I haven't used them yet but plan on trying the Bud Explosion in a couple months when my jungle juice runs out.

Just a heads up that greenleaf nutrients themselves told me that Sweet Candy is a pk booster for soil type stuff and Bud Explosion is pk booster for hydro and etc. Not to be used together.
thanks for letting me know. i handwater coco coir in smartpots plus the sweet candy has kelp, humics, and fulvics which the bud explosion doesn't so it looks good to me. i've never used additives or supplements ever, or liquid nutes either. i started out by using maxibloom dry as 1 part (lucas formula) then switched to megacrop 1 part.. i had a mammoth p sample but it was tiny and MC has enzymes anyways.

do you think carbs/PK boosters make a difference??

has anyone ever used greenleaf nutrients bud explosion PK booster?? or the sweet candy ??
I have used megacrop and bud explosion. Switched to jacks 5-12-26. I bought from aquaterra. Great service. I recommend the bud explosion with jacks (dialed down in flowering) with bud explosion. Grms per gal..2-2-1 with .5grm (Be). Good for coco in flower.. anything else..2-2-1-.75 (BE).

So I heard back from on of my supplier and they said the reason GH doesn't want to sell their powdered Flora Pro retail is because they don't want people to break it down into smaller amounts and not get the right chemical ratios in the mix. The bags are designed to be dumped into on large container and make a concentrate solution. I guess that would make sense.

I’ve yet to see a dry nutrients line designed specifically for coco..there’s a lot of coco specific bottled nutrients available.Canna,H&G,GH,come to mind..
I’ve had the best results with Canna, the A&B has everything your plant needs start to finish in just two bottles,pk boost as well for 3 days.

Lots of work goes into bottle nutes.. if you are interested in the ratios of canna at certain strengths as it works for you.. checkout @Renfro nute calculator. Its excel and he did a pretty good job with the calculations.. then you can determine what is close..if your interested. It helped me.

What about adding in something like Calcium Carbonate?

I think pk boosters do but I stopped using carbs years ago since i could never tell the difference between using them or not.

So between this forum and another one I'm thinking of getting 3 experienced growers who are interested from each forum and in doing a side by side grow comparing some fertilizers

I'm thinking of doing 3Kg kits of
Plant Prod MJ
Jacks 321
Plant Prod 6-11-31 hydroponics which is smilar to jacks A+B mix
Mega Crop but not sure when I can get enough?
Something else?

I could also throw in Microbial Mass, Dextrrose (carb) and MKP (bloom booster)? It would be cool if a light could be dedicated to each one.

I would love to hear the results of that as well. Must admit I'm a little confused in what direction to go as far as all of those go tbh.

I noticed this when searching for Jacks info. This is the blurb they have on Google

An improvement on the classic "Part A" formula for general vegetative growing. This redesigned blend is built with purely soluble and available nutrients to allow the grower maximum flexibility.

I found 3x50lb containers of Maxi Grow lol so bought those. One is sold to a customer who has been waiting for a while and gonna piece out the other 100lb and sell it in 1kg portions. Will keep it same a normal retail $17.99 per 1kg. Will post back when I get them tomorrow.
