Dry fertilizers in Canada

I haven't used them yet but plan on trying the Bud Explosion in a couple months when my jungle juice runs out.

Just a heads up that greenleaf nutrients themselves told me that Sweet Candy is a pk booster for soil type stuff and Bud Explosion is pk booster for hydro and etc. Not to be used together.
I would love to explore this some more as traditionally a PK boost is used earlier in the flower cycle and sweetener type products are used near the end of flower to gain weight and improve terps. I could see NOT using both at the same time however their ratios and ingredients are different so I see no issue on the same cycle.

Was GreenLeaf saying not to mix them, or not to use them on the same plants?

I'm wanting to use one manufactures products as I am currently using MC + Canna PK 13/14 and FF ChaChing so both Bud Explosion & Sweet Candy were on the list as replacements.

Cheers all, grow trees!

Me: "So would you guys recommend using the Sweet Candy and Bud Explosion at the same time or is that too much PK?"

Greenleaf Nutrients: "No, you would pick one or the other. Sweet Candy is good as a soil conditioner and for user with soil type media. Bud Explosion is good for other non-soil media types."

Have you(or anyone else for that matter) heard any feedback on this stuff yet? Noticed my local hydro store is carrying this stuff now as well now. I'm curious to see how this stuff is. Guess I better sign up for the give away.

That's why I'm going the give away :) I'm trying to really get into selling powders. Currently I have no space run a test grow so hard to get feed back when everyone want to only buy liquid or are 20+ light growers.

I'm trying ti figure out how to sponsor a couple smaller growers to do some testing. Would be nice to have one that is into the elemental part of nutrients and cannabis and one that is just a good gardener that doesn't get all scientific, that smaller growers can relate too and not get scared of NKP numbers and talk.

How can you be sure that MegaCrop wont just change it all over again? You should get a full skid so at least you can dial it in and hold it there.

The change of formulas and claims of the label says this but is really that....that bothers me a lot. Having a 19 pound sack of nutes i cant mix bothers me more.

The slime in a water system blows hard too...Advanced/Dynagrow/GH and Jacks DO NOT DO THIS !

With Jacks...it mixes...and does not settle.

This formula does not matter...it is always 'THIS' formula...when they have it stable...well by then i might need more nutes.

I can't but gonna take a chance and see what happens. The slime is probably from the molasses, leave any molasses in the res for a few days and it'll do the same thing, same with dextrose.

I've worked in a hydro stores for 17 years people have complained about every single brand of nutrients there is.

Cost is higher this time than before probably $110 and limit one 10kg at a time. If it goes fast enough I'll order another 1/2 skid as a full skid is a bit much $ to tied up atm. I get lots of 1-3kg sales vs wholebags online so like to keep the small guys going.
Ya still on sale at $99 they told my buddy but not for long as well. I guess they will be the same as you then after this sale ends.

they messed up part of the order so i have 50 pounds of 20 20 20 and am getting the 25 of bloom booster i ordered.

And 19 pounds of MC left...with some combination i think i can make it work !

Flora Pro from General Hydro. Designed from the ground up for cannabis. Thank me later.
I already posted about it a few weeks ago, two suppliers that were going to bring it in and Sunlight ( owned by Hawthorne and a GH distributor that wholsaler buy GH from) was under cutting them on the price so they said fuck it and another one told me GH didn't want to sell retail as they want pople to use the whole bags to make stock solutions and not partial smaller mixes. Sounds like a fuck around to me.

I know there's a lot of parts but Plant Pro MJ works good.

After some reading its a two part anywas. Grow bag +Micro/CaLMg bag or Bloom bag +Micro/CaLMg bag

I agree. after I read the literature a few times I realized it is basically two part.
I just have to amend the end weeks because I don't go as long as their weekly schedule goes.

Now that I have burned my veg plants, I must admit there is a little confusion for me.
In all the literature they are talking about 200 ppm N etc.
200 ppm seemed low, but they seem to be talking about the N. I have no way to measure just N, I can only measure the entire PPM.
They instruct you in grams too. this is where i got confused and burned my plants.
They say .8 to 1.2 grams/litre grow is 100-150 ppm N in reality one gram per litre of grow is 970 total ppm or 1.9 ec
gram litre boost is 820 ppm or 1.6 ec
gram litre bloom is 850 ppm or 1.7 ec
gram litre cal kick is 810 ppm or 1.6 ec
gram litre finisher is 640 ppm or 1.3 ec

in comparison mega crop gram litre was 730 ppm or 1.4 ec

I don't know what numbers I should be shooting for here.

Just talked to my customer and he goes lower on the PPM and then increases it over time to about 1800-2000 (in flower) in the place where its a sealed room in another place where is air in and out he doesn't go over 1500. At the begging he just slowly starts at 500/700ppm when clones are planted and goes from there and give them CalKick once a week but lower dose than what they recommend.

I'm guessing what he meant when he follows the feed chart it just when to use each version grow, bloom, boost etc... but set the ppm/ec that what it really needs to be.

I would still go by the PPM/EC requirements for what ever size plant you have. I'm trying to find a place where I can have 2-4 lights to experiment but its hard to find a place where people don't want their mortgage paid for a small space lol .
