I found this feeding schedule from dyna gro website, which is almost certainly for mj. However, i don't follow it. I just used it to ballpark the actual concentrations of the nutrients in ppm. The n-p-k is actually the minimum threshold so your ppm could be about 10-15% higher.

I have been using foliage pro and pro-tekt for vegging. Last application I switched to liquid grow 7-9-5 formula because I'm flipping to 12/12 next week. If you want to know more about my ratios then check out the third page of my journal. Personally, I don't think ratios are all that important. MJ is a forgiving plant that will take a wide range of n-p-k ratios. I do subscribe to the higher nitrogen content during bloom in order to keep those fan leaves nice and green all the way through. Higher phosphorus is helpful in late bloom, but not in some of the ridiculous ratios that are on the market today. Here are some posts with constructive arguments about dyna-gro and n-p-k ratios:

I also don't use the lucas formula or any derivation of it. Just kind of judge it by plant development and top out at 1100-1300ppm around 2-4th week flower. This is including the 50-90ppm in my tap water.

hope this helps

Hold on. i'll edit this in a minute once i figure out how to post pdfs.
I went up to 2000 ppm a few times (Dyna-Gro Foliage Pro) in a row to see what would happen and I didn't see any adverse affects.

Did you test the nutrient solution with an EC meter or use one of the ppm calculators you find everywhere on the internet?

You found one nutrient tolerant strain right there. Hopefully, you have some mothers of the pheno. I wouldn't push my plants that hard b/c i think it wouldn't change growth rate all that much considering I keep my temperature on the low side and don't use CO2.

shnkrmn you got any updates? I'm 2 weeks in to veg, with dyna-gro and a splash of super thrive lookin sweet so far. I also have a batch of clones going straigth to flower. I'd like to hear about your test run comparing veg to not and see the outcome.STill got to find a local shop with mag-pro.,.,.,.?

I just picked a bottle of dynagro's pro-tekt.. second day of using it as foliar feed.. not sure if i should spray twice a day (morning/evening). how often do you spray??

Yeah I see better results from feeding with pro-tekt than foliage spray.

I'm 3 weeks into flowering with Dyna-Gro. That Foliage-pro is the shit!!! It's keeping every single leaf on the plant. I am slowly lowering the FP and adding Bloom and Mag-pro now. I think I will always give them some FP just for the nitrogen to keep em green!

I just got back from ten days vacation. Just in the nick of time; reservoirs were low, low low and ppms were way high. All is well now though, and I just chopped ten plants which are the first zero-veg ones. All I can say is amazing. I have at least an ounce or so per plant and the single stem was so easy to trim I was done in 1/2 an hour. I will never grow another way again. I also have a cloner which I left running while I was gone and now I have to carefully disentangle the roots on my next batch of clones. They have grown 4 inches just sitting in the cloner fer gads sake. As for Dyna-bloom, it's absolutely the best I've used. I'm going to add some pro-tekt for the next run which begins . . . . . now. I am low on foliage pro and am going to replace it with dyna-grow to see what's up with that. With the zero-veg system, I really just need grow formula to maintain my mothers. I use a lot of bloom though :).

Heres a few of mine in 3 gal roots organic soil, feeding DG. 3 weeks in.photo(5).jpgphoto(4).jpgphoto(6).jpg

Grape Krush, an uncontrolable Durban Poison lol, and Island Sweet Skunk

They are getting 3/4 FP, 1/4 Bloom and a dab of Mag-pro. Will soon be adding more bloom obviously. I just like keeping em green :)

And a glimpse of the 5 gallon ebb & grow :)

I just kinda eyeball it, seeing what the plant wants/needs. Right now (in soil, 3 weeks into flowering) I am giving 1/2 FP 1/2 Bloom with a splash of pro-tek and mag-pro. But the other day I saw a slight paleness on a couple lower leaves, So I gave them almost all FP for that watering. Right now I am giving them about 1200-1300 ppm. They are eating it up! No deficiencies, No nute burn. But every strain is different. I have some that lovvveeeeeee nutes, and some that hate even the slightest bit of Nutes.

Thats why I never use a chart. I go by what the plant's health requires.

I second this.
Charts are bullshit.
