An exhaust is basic necessity for every grow i started of with ac infinity s4 its not that much. But i could've got a vivisun 4in for less than 30$. But setups in my closet so noise matters... spend the 30$ its well worth it compared to getting bud rot after spending months of time and hundreds of dollars, at the very least get some type of fan to move air . That dehumidifier is definitely going to raise your temps

Look man, I just bought a nice dehu this morning for my setup. A dehu is in many circumstances a luxury item, but you must have proper airflow in your tent! This isn't negotiable or a luxury item in any sense of the word, I find it hard to believe you didn't buy an inline fan with your initial setup. You have no idea what the humidity in your tent would be if it had proper airflow, and you just run right off and spend the money on a dehumidifier.

I guess if you're cool smoking moldy bud because you've done it before more power to you, but I'm not trying to grow headache lettuce I'm trying to grow good medicinal and recreational drugs.

Absolutely. Dehumidifier was not in my first or second purchase but i ordered inline fan same time as tent and light. If would've choose the fan and grow in the closet if i didn't have money for both air movement is a must

Dude screw the dehumidify in the tent is gonna cause you more problems... Leave the tent flap open put a fan outside blowing in and finish your grow...

An exhaust fan isnt considered fancy equipment, its just one of the things you need for a basic setup.

Too late now though so good luck on your grow.

Has nothing to do with having the full package in one shot. But you probably should have started with the basics first. An exhaust fan is a must have item, not fancy equipment. If you had purchased a smaller tent then you could have easily have afforded an exhaust fan.

If you don't have air movement in the tent you're going to get mold.

This setup cost around €120 (Light 90 and ventilator with carbonfilter 30) and pulled 150g on 30x80cm. It is not about the money bro... sometimes this cheap setups can give more than you can imagine but you need to know what to do. Exhaust is the must and these cheap vents do the work good for your purposes.

Make a list of consumables, capital expenses and buy items every month instead.
Buy things in proper order if money is tight.
  • light@ seed stage
  • small circulator fan@ seedling
  • Big light@ transplant
  • duct exhaust@ veg
  • carbon filter @ bloom
  • Dehumidifier@ mid flower
  • Humidifier@ harvest/ or winter
  • AC @ next summer
With a tent open for for venting, you will need bug spray. Another reason for ducts and filters.
Maybe upgrade those plastic bags on the plants, get a wet vac on your Christmas list as well.

New growers don't see the value, tend to skip essentials like fans, filters, EC and PH meters, end up playing with mud in the basement.

I think that lot of us went thru this “cheap” chapter untill realized that buying cheap things is waste of time and money...

Coming into winter bugs and humidity shouldn't be a problem for most of the continent, which makes me wonder where this humid grow is ...soggy cold basement or somewhere geographically warmer and humid with bugs.
Either way, pick up some IPM stuff at some point.

No filters, no excess heat, no concern for smell, no bugs crawling in, no exhaust, vents open, and no light leaks for flower, right?
That's the plan?

Why did the OP even need a tent? :confused:

LMAO right? seems like it was money wasted. The number 1 purpose of a tent is to control smell.
