Expensive seeds

I don't get it? Even if you paid $50 for a seed, and another , let's say, $200 to grow it and get only a QP your ahead of the game by $500 easy. It's a business, they are a company providing you with a product, that you can conceivably be making a profit of multiple times your initial costs, (most profits are measured in percentages of initial cost) and they only want a small piece of that. Even a $50 seed it's only something like 5% of total cost on the whole setup..

I just dropped a couple hundred on seeds, I'm probably going to make $10K+ off of it,easy. Even if the seeds were 30% cheaper, I'm not sweating $50-$100 bucks up front.

why are you talking yield? do expensive beans exclusively yield more...no! can you find a lot of good yielding plants in $30-70 per pack range that are fire....yes! i'm not saying the expensive ones are inferior by any means, but quite a few put high prices to make sheep think they are better.

like i said f1's should be cheaper than stabilized seeds, also yes you can yield off the plants u grow to make the money spent on seeds but not if the seed doesnt germinate or is male...paying 25 bucks for a dj short bb seed is rediculous especially wen i buy 3 and none sprout and they wont replace or guarenty germination.. same goes for spending money on sensi super skunk, growing it and nobody would buy it cause its like ditch weed,,,

I have a few go-to seed companies that I have had very good luck with. I love DinaFem, their seeds have always given me good germ rates and lots of frosty nugs usually reasonably priced too. I also like a few strains from Paradise Seeds, very consistent quality, and their Bella Donna is great and seeds are cheap.. And I love Cannacopia.(available through Hemp Depot) They have great strains for $30 per 10 seeds. I love their Bubba Kush X Deep Chunk. Its a ripper for sure. I dont buy into the fact that you have to spend a butt-load of cash for some good quality seeds. I hear good things about Royal Queen too. Just got some Royal Moby seeds. We shall see... Good Luck
Is Cannacopia coming from Oregon? I'm thinking I should buy from breeders between Vancouver BC and SF because I'm in that region and I figure the gear's gotten acclimated, giving me better odds.

I'm a breeder, and no you won't find my gear in any seedbanks, because I give F1's and F2's away for free :)

What growers should do (and very few do) is buy a 10 pack of reg seeds, pop all of em, pick the best boy and girl and make seeds. Now you have a thousand seeds you can pop to pheno hunt with. When you find the best girl self her to make fem seeds and move on to the next one. It's not rocket science :)

At the recent Loompa Farms drop the seeds were all $20, I think. I got the impression many were buying anyway, because of the cred they've built.

I've bought twice from http://mjseedscanada.com. Very good pre-and-post sales. They also allow direct email transfer payment for Canadians. One time, they took payment, but I didn't receive seeds. I chatted with them via their web chat, and they recognized the system didn't save my order, but they did see they got payment.

They followed up by sending three times the seeds of my original order, plus a sample pack from Crop King Seeds.

i had a good berry bomb mother, planted 4 seeds, 1 didnt pop, other 3 were females, but 1 was weak and threw it away, 1 hermed out, but 1 was great! produced as much as my northern lights and finished a week faster w/ a great berry smell and great crystal production still have 6 seeds left.. have some dinafems, great packaging, sweet deep grapefruit, but havnt tried it yet. seedsman,,i have several strains and the ones ive grown, original afghan#1, original skunk#1, white widow(stabilized hybrid) and purple bud, all were great in production, and high's, but the purple bud wasnt purple and took almost 10 weeks to finish,,the other 3 i would say were better than alot of the higher priced seeds ive grown, their skunk#1 was way better than sensi seeds skunk#1, and 1000 times better than sensi super skunk..im still growing the skunk and want to plant more afghans, i want another afghan male as the afghan, skunk, and widow are all true breeding strains, which saves me alot of time..i also look forward to planting their nl and sugar haze..i really also like nirvana seeds, some people say they wont buy from them, but ive had great plants from nirvana, their ak48,northern lights, and ice were all great w/ more than 4 great phenios in each pack of ten, hard to choose the best ones they were all so good..also they no longer offer misty, but i would give anything to get that one back it was truly awsome, although their medusa contains misty genes, its not nearly as productive, wouldnt get medusa again..
