Female pollen

There are a couple places online but I'd be extremely leary of buying it. It's cheaper to buy some sodium thiosulfate and silver nitrate and reverse your own female and collect the pollen. It's a simple process. I make feminized pollen but I don't sell anything. I'd give some away to someone locally but I don't send anything in the mail outside of Oregon. Make your own.

I have a plant I was trying to make pollen with, not looking good at the moment
I was just thinking it would be great to be able to buy specific strain pollen

There is a place called Holy Seeds that sells pollen. I looked at their stuff and it was nothing I'd want to use for making crosses with. Sweet Cheese Nacho's, Unicorn Farts, etc... Same old pollen chucked hybrids being cranked out by so many overpriced seed companies.

How were you trying to reverse to make feminized pollen? The STS method is more reliable and easier than using colloidal silver.

I tried colloidal silver. I am not sure if I waited too long or the stuff I bought was cheap. Where is best to get sts ?
Seeds are expensive, and add grow cost, to HOPE you get a decent plant, and taking multiple clones in case it's a good pheno.....drives me crazy.

Is it accurate to say that with STS, you only need to dose the plant once? I've been using CS for years to make pollen. However, even though I make my own, with CS, you have to spray daily for up to three weeks (or even more in some cases). Doing entire plants uses a lot of CS.

I'm about to do another pollen run, and am considering making a batch of STS to test out.

I don't tend to take advise from ppl who end every sentence with "lol".
up to u I'm a firm believer that femming a plant causes the offspring to become genetically inferior with adding hems into the mix imo. that's why I go the extra mile just to breed them how their suppose to be in nature. :P

Growing herb can be very simple or very complicated, it just depends on the growers attitude.
I used to over-complicate it by thinking if I pollinate this plant with that plant I'll make a Super Herb :)
Well, that didn't really work out that well because I needed/wanted herb now, not in a year (that's how long it takes to modify a plant)
So now I simply buy good fem seeds from good companies & in 90 days have a decent product that will get me where I need too be
Much easier and with the same desired result, getting fucking stoned :)

Personally, I've never had a hermie issue with any of the fem seeds I've made, and I've made a whole lot of them across many strains over the years.

I believe that statements that plants from fem seeds are inferior to be either untrue, or at least misguided. Possibly by people who created fem seeds from already inferior plants.

im no rocket applience but i have to agree with this. Im sure good breeders can make it work but herm almost has to be in the genes.

why I say this is because I had a cross that was femmed go pretty herm and this was from like 70% of the offspring I popped had herming issues maybe genetics I might rerun to see if it happens again.

I understand what you are saying. I'm not intending on doing much breeding. The short term goal would to be crossing 2 strains I like, and have female seeds to run when I wanted. I don't have much space, so growing regs and dealing with sexing just doesn't work good for me.

ill take reg genetics over fem any day lol
I prefer running regs myself but I make feminized pollen to make feminized seeds for friends that just want to grow bud and have no desire to deal with males. I'm the opposite. I sometimes search for good males and actually grow out regular seeds and kill the females when I'm making a cross and just want male pollen.

I usually spray 2 - 3 times. Once every 3 days seems to work everytime. I also spray whole plants but I use small plants.
