I believe it's just after a few days you can spray the females pollinated areas with water to prevent further pollination in your area.

Another tip (from I believe the chuckers paradise thread) and one you may already know, is you can dilute your pollen with flour in a 1:10 pollen:flour ratio. This makes it easier to administer, and makes it easy to see where you pollinated. For longer term pollen storage, it's advised to bake some white rice and flour real low, like 200F degrees, for 30-45 minutes (to remove all moisture) and then mix your pollen and flour in the 1:10 ratio. The rice is just there as a desiccant.

Thanks, I think I'll try that with the Blue Sunshine pollen I have. I want to use it on the Bubblegum and Grape Punch clones I'm vegging while these flower. Hope it stays viable that long. I can already see pistils with brown tips and shrivelling. Hope by tomorrow they're going to be easy to spot.

Things are looking great as far as successful pollination. All the bud sites I carpet bombed with pollen are looking like it took. The Purest Indica plant got a lot of accidental pollination on the tops probably during my moving it around to get to the other plants. I'm fine with having more seeds than I had planned for, I was more worried about it not working. It was 89 degrees outside today so the tent is a toasty 85. I've been able to keep the humidity in line so that the VPD didn't get out of line. Hope you guys are getting some of this beautiful weather where you are. The temps are back to normal after back to back 85-90 degree days. I'm seeing signs of the NL#2 finally starting to green up a little. It's been pale green this entire grow and just eats up whatever I feed it. I've been giving it some Jack's 321 formula once a week and just top dressed it with 2 tbls per gallon of Dr Earth. They all got fed a couple days early as stretch burned through a lot of nutes. Here's a couple pics and have a great weekend.

It's all about the genetics, getting good seeds is the biggest part of a grow in my opinion. The Purest Indica plant from Authentic Genetics is really putting on trichomes for a plant only 26 days from flip. Some of the pics I've seen of it are super frosty. The real test will be 2 months out when they're dried and ready to sample....yum.

Things are progressing at a good pace and other than a mild P deficiency on the bubba kush, the girls are looking great. The light is around 85%-90% full power and that's about as far as I can push it with the plants height right now. If I could raise it about 4" more I'd crank the dial to 100. Buds are starting to fill out and the smell is absolutely 100% old school weed. Both Purest Indica and Northern Lights#2 are stinking something fierce. Good thing I don't have neighbors anywhere close because I don't run a carbon filter. Here's a couple pics of the progress this week and hopefully I'll get some nice bud swelling this next few weeks. Hope everyone is doing well and your plants are even better.IMG_20230414_173406231_HDR.jpgIMG_20230414_173359048_HDR.jpg

Today's day 56 from flip and 5 weeks since pollination. Purest Indica is looking like it will be first to finish in a couple weeks and NL#2 and Bubba Kush look like 3 more weeks or so. Buds are bulking up nicely and Bubba seems to settled down with the P deficiency I was starting to see. Thanks again @Spiderfarmerled for this really nice light to try out. It's very easy to adjust and the buds are nice and dense.

I tried some new cloning powder on the last couple cuts I've taken and so far I'm really impressed. I've used Clonex gel and Great White ever since I started growing but at the recommendation of another grower decided to give this Hormex Rooting powder a shot. I picked the #8 powder and put root riot plugs in Solo cups like I normally do. The results are better than anything I've gotten before.

I will have to see how it does with the pre 98 bubba kush cuts before I'm totally sold on it but I have way more roots from these plugs than I usually do and their nice and fuzzy.

The cuttings looks awesome! Clonex and Hormex both contain IBA-K. It's just in different formats. I used to use KLN from Dyna Gro and that's probably the best one I've tried, it contains both IBA-K and NAA.

I only take cuttings in a DWC cloner. Simple and I'm lazy! I add a little bit of bloom nutrients and a few drops of bleach. IMG_20230426_161418681_MF_PORTRAIT.jpg
