Nice. Glad to see them doing well there dude. It's a handy thread for me to lurk in so that I can get an idea of how they should be looking etc.

I'm starting over with mine. I took cuttings which are in a little propagator now, meanwhile I'm modifying my setup slightly and throwing the Hydroguard in the trash.

Light defoliating. I was 50/50 on doing this because I wasn't too sure on how much I should take off. But atm I just trimmed the huge fan leaves off and the under growth that wasn't getting much light and fan leaves covering bud sites.

Some defoliation going on and LST to all 3 plants to stretch them outward and short. Well I don't really need to keep them short there pretty short naturally.

I've tied stems down pretty good. It was tricky with the dwc buckets because I didn't want to drill holes in them or have the net pot fixed to the buckets so I made some diy rubber hook like things witg the soft ties which worked a treat

You should send them to flower soon if they are saliva dominant or they will grow too big. Train them up the the second week of flower then I usually let them be. It will more than double in size.

Could be the bucket/ planter. Those things are huge for plants so small. One reason your soil girl is doing better right now is that her food isn't washing away. That hydroton isn't the greatest at keeping moisture and nutes up where a seedling can use it, you'll probably need to top feed them til their roots touch solution. I would hit them with a spritz or two every few hours, just water, no nutes. That should help with their sluggish growth.

So its been awhile since I last posted anything on here due to living in this crazy world we call home lol but my 2 girls and 1 mother are still well and truly alive so ill give you a quick run down on whats been going on..

One week before switching to 12/12 I changed my set up to a waterfall / drip system and completely ditched the air pump and air stones and I honestly think that was the main cause to my root issues and ever since the switch the girls are thriving and are currently in week 4 of flower. Even without a water chiller and temps reaching ambient 82 degrees i have not had a problem as of yet. Also added a cool tube to the 600w hps and co2 bag.

Yep, get you a little dripper thing and drip some water on your rockwool cube or starter plugs. Let the roots get water, I also keep the water level right near the bottom of net pot. So that water splashes up the hydroton balls, helps keep her moist. As the roots grow below net pot, lower the water level and let her rip

I also run rdwc. I start the beans in rockwool cubes. What works for me is filling the water up past the bottom of the basket until the roots grow out of the basket, then keep water level about 2 inches below the basket from then on. Top feed works but hard to gauge the moisture in the rockwool. You have to make sure that the roots have enough dissolved 02 to keep them from drowning.

Last week before I chop. Was a journey. The whole flower stage was a walk in park. No problems, no insects no lockouts no ph fluctuations no root problems despite having no water chiller and my tent hitting 30 degrees celcuis. Some might say its too early to chop but I have my reasons. Anyway ill be starting in coco after this. 20210109_232115.jpg20210109_232146.jpg20210109_232153.jpg20210109_232202.jpg
