I agree, how can one have 100% when bad seeds exist? Lol.. Infact, i notice planting straight into the medium the roots get a head start in creating a foundation for the stalk. If you were to dig up your stalk after harvest you would see a thick bend/swirl before it dives down and branches off into roots and that doesnt seem to happen when manually planting a tap root down a hole.

Good luck and have fun with your first! That light is a little strong for those little girls, check out a t5! Its already been recommended but you wont believe it until you use it the difference that it makes.

Topped most of my non autos. Took 2 fan leaves off of my 2 more mature autos. One little lady has white hairs coming in everywhere.
My bigger autoassassin male is out in a cage and my other auto assassin was a male too. So that one went in the trash

Haven't posted in a while. 3 of my 6 autos were male, one has yet to show sex. With all the male autos, I've just switched to 12/12 to flower my regulars, fingers crossed they are all ladies lol.
