Dr. Earth is another good brand that I use - simple and FULL of ingredients that other brands may not have in it , like kelp , molasses , insulin , aloe Vera , humid acid . It stinks like shit ( feces smell ) , but does not have sludge or bio solids . Plants really like this shit .
1-2 capfuls per gallon water then ph to 6.5 your golden. I use tap water , NO RO or unicorn piss.

The " liquid solution " ( 3/3/3 ) I got on Amazon , but they have powdered nutes at Home Depot. Look at FLOWER GIRL for bloom , it is another powerful bloom nute that is cheap and effective.

They are Cali based and ship quickly all over the states. You can visit there site and get free samples ( I got like 8 bags of FREE .... Hee hee ) , but yet to run it because I am going thru the other ones first.

Just remember it's just my 2¢ ... I use what works for me. Your needs or grows will be your own .

It just ZERO sense to me to buy into AN nutrients line of multi bottles and the hype .
There are tons of growers here on RIU using far less and getting killer grows.
Time will tell what you will like and dislike. But it's like growing tomatoes, the needs are pretty much the same. Hell some growers are using Tomato Tone .

Thank for the info. Also how big of pots should I use. I am growing outside and in a pretty secluded area. So I ain't worried about trying to keep them short to stay hidden. I trying to get them as big as possible. Right now I got them in 3 gallon buckets.

I have thought about trying to start a compost bin for the next grow I have. Do u just use kitchen scraps and yard clipping or do u use one of the super soil recipes that' online. From what I have read online you don't have to use fertilizer if you use the super soil is this true? And what about regular compost?

I use sphagnum or Coco, kelp, worm castings, perlite, rock dust, ancient forest hummus, mushroom compost, regular compost, epsoma tomatotone, lime, sea bird guano, bat guano, alfalfa meal, crabmeal to make my soil.

It can be considered a super soil, I haven't feed them anything else but water and they look great. I use it for my veggies and house plants as well.

You can use green compost, (clippings, egg shells, fruit scraps and brown cardboard etc.) I don't use meats and bones.

IMO the soil you purchased is just fine. They seem to be coming around nicely. You should study cloning to take snips for moms before they show sex, then you'll have more plants to experiment with or in the event of failure. Also the clone(s) can replace males that have to be pulled. Code the snip to the plant so you know which one is which.

The soil you started with definitely had a problem.

I would wait until they have recovered from being FIMM'ed before transplanting again.

Mixing it up takes about 60 minutes, optimal cooking takes 30 days but can be used sooner.

Has myco forming on top after 3-4 days. Cost wise it's cheaper to make yards of this versus retail and it has everything I want in it, plus can be re amended after a run and reused.

Perlite is the most expensive part if you can't grab 4cuft for 20 or less, peat is 12 for 1.1 yards, the others are 5lb boxes for 3-5$ each. I used to use Coco only, that sheet is 42 for 3 ft and add on costs for synthetics.

Best part is low maintenance after it's setup, just water or a few extra bat guano additions during heavy flower.

Easy way is tomatotone, Kelp and a medium like Coco or plain old potting soil. The tomatotone has already got bunch of organics in it off the top. I add the others as a bonus.

Here's how they are looking this morning. Still have not done anything to them as far as any nutes.

And one of the germinated seeds I planted yesterday popped up over night!!! Still got 7 to go.

The stick that looks like it is growing out of it, it ain't. I put the seeds in just a bucket cause I don' have any trays and I put a little stick beside it so I know where I put all the seeds and the camera is making it look weird.

Also thanks everyone for y'alls help. I still need to know how big of pots I should use. I want these plants to get as big as possble and right now I have them in about 3 gallon pots. I can' put them in the ground because my yard gets really wet.

I looked in to cloning last night and I seen videos where people swear by just using water to clone. Does this actually work and I also seen some about using honey. Are these fake or does these techniques actually work.

I to am in Florida and just started growing myself I had a couple bag seeds threw them in the yard and that sucker took off but it started flowering wayyy to early so I’ve decided to take it in doors and started a few more plants the big plant is the one that was outside and now I’m putting her back in veg stage to get a better yield she’s already stinking the other 4 small ones are white widow. I’m currently using a 300w spectra led got it about 20-24 inch from plants.

Nice and you keep them outside 24/7? I had one of mine outside and it started getting ate by caterpillars so had to move it in and get a 300w led

Yeah I’m right in the middle of Florida The sun is crazy now that we are gonna go into summer lol yesterday was 93 and your one bigger plant looks like the leaves are doing what mine are a canoe like shape

Yeah it been getting really hot. I been told tho not to worry about it (unless it starts to get really bad). The plants will adapt to it over time.

I will use hormone if there's something I cant risk losing (probably 90-95% success when using hormone) and can take a cpl clones and pretty much guarantee they will root. Otherwise a lot of times I'll just throw a bunch of cuts in coco (what I use.. I would assume a neutral soil would work same way) when I trim the plants and keep it damp at all times. It may take a couple extra days and I may lose one or two but I try not to mess with the hormone too much.

I have tried the water technique and have never had much success.. I can clone houseplants in glasses of water no problem but for whatever reason I have not had minimal success with cannabis.

never got around to trying honey so let us know if you decide to go that route.
