Hi all, I usually grow autos but due to the inconsistency I was getting I thought I'd try a photoperiod. This girl is 5 weeks, she's topped and trained. Lost a few weeks at the start due to overwatering, now she's back on track could she be flipped to flower?she's in a 20l pot with bio bizz allmix, using bio tabs as nutes.

it looks very indica dominant judging by the thickness of the leafs. If you flip now the plant will stay very short and you will not get more than 50g/1.7oz (in my oppinion)

(but it depends on what you want, I would wait for the single shoots to be much longer so you actually get some branches there)

Whats the Strain?

She's a berry muffin, breeder is unknown as I was gifted the seed. I will veg another 2 weeks then to be safe

I just checked the strain, if it the humboldt seeds one.. well it is as I assumed. I found that scrogging indica dominant strains is very time consuming and not the best way to go. They usually veg very slowly. Good Luck

If you want to fight off a bush in flower - Keep on vegging it like that guy said ^

Keep it clean, keep it clean and tight - learn from it

*edit I can already see a fight coming with ur plant. But I'll let ur green thumb figure out as you flip.

Good luck 2 u :blsmoke:
What is the problem that you think I will encounter even if I flip now

I don't see any problems. Maybe a smaller yield like mentioned before but the way you have it trained now looks really good.

Just a fight in store organizing your canopy and cleaning up the lower foliage. Based on the control you show over the plant now I see no issues flipping.
Great, I will flip it tomorrow and keep this thread posted with what happens. Thanks again for your advice

Only reason to take it into further veg, in my opinion, would be to take clones. Reducing the size again and then putting it into flower

Flip it! I think you will have a great yield and since it was bagseed I guess you won't know about running it a second time. But you will see the stretch and have a better idea of when you like to flip ur plants for next time. Every plant stretches different so it's the ability to be versatile and accommodating that will help you grow great crops.

I hate posting pics in others threads because it may confuse people but here. Example for you: I am vegging further to snag clones. Otherwise I would be planning my flip at this moment. Maybe a week more and I would - if no clones.

Great info, these photos are all new to me, switched from autos as they can be so finnicky

Depending on the light i see a quarter pounder there easy! Last grow I put a seed in late and it had 12/12 its whole life and still yielded more than that!

When you flip the light depends on how big you want it to be. Flipping now it will take up about 1/3 of that tent from what i can see.
