Depending on the light i see a quarter pounder there easy! Last grow I put a seed in late and it had 12/12 its whole life and still yielded more than that!

When you flip the light depends on how big you want it to be. Flipping now it will take up about 1/3 of that tent from what i can see.
Timers are all set and will be flipped from 9 am tomorrow morning. I'm excited to see how she does.

I would consider optimal to be a touch more than that but 875 would get the job done. He could use the two lights to flower just that one plant in a corner and it would be ok.
Yeah, I should have used the word min but didn't want the huge number to scare them. Some go up to 50 watts per square foot as far as I know. Plants do love their light :bigjoint:

I think 400-600watts per m² is optimal. I prefer 400 because of the heat and my aerial situation.
Yeah when you start to get closer to the max limits of what the plants can take you run into more issues but if you can keep everything just right, youll get some happy girls.

Agreed. And plants grown at 50w/sqft will require a good bit more attention than ones grown at 40w/sqft

Been growing autos for 15 yrs and still don't know what finicky is. I always grow a photo alongside my autos just for shits and grins, but also to compare potency. Autos have come a long way in those years and although some breeders have bastardized their auto offerings, autos certainly have their place.
I flip my photos at 3 weeks just to control growth. I run a ts 1000 with 2 autocobs in a 2x3 tent, at 46w sq ft...makes for good healthy yeilds.

How do obtain your autos and are they fems or regs.

first timer here in the first week of my grow. Running 2 auto og from humboldt.

do you have both autos and photo under same light space and sched? If so, do you see no difference from an auto that is under a higher light on schedule like 24/0 or 18/6 compared when you run a “normal” schedule for your photo that’s in the same space?

what are auto cobs? Nice! Ok then I should be good in a 2.5x5 with the HLG 600

I grow both autos and photoperiod. I like autos more. Good genetics make the difference: I grew 5 seeds with almost identical outcome. Photos give bigger yields though.
No quality or potency difference? That’s good to hear! First timer.

where did you get your seeds?
