mmm those are looking damn tasty! Getting fat!
I was checking my grow guide and its saying that the growth in height should be slowing...and she should be fattening up now...it states that I should add PK 13 14 now...but as of yet ...ive held off...partly because I wasnt sure whether to use 13 14 as well as fruit machine..or one or the other... also almost every other grow i ve previously added pk 13 14 to at the suggested times and amounts theyve always suffered leaf stress as a result....am un sure how to play it this time round..

.i will take pics later...if she looks fatter and not looking much taller i think ill drop the fruit machine and add the PK but at a lower dosage than recommended..

..but heres the kicker ...at this PK stage ...should I decrease, maintain or increase Canna Boost..??? Bearing in mind I am not using an EC meter just reading her leaves etc... I do have an EC meter or reader...lol...but..i dont know how to understand its readings and what the digits mean in the order they show..if that makes sense.. let me know your thoughts..?.. - STELTHY :leaf:

I know I am supposed to be adding PK about now ... but have kept on with normal feeding and continued adding the Fruit Machine instead of for just 1 week ...but for 2 5 weeks then I'll add PK..just for a week ... kinda reverse the 2 .... - STELTHY :leaf:

Sorry, meant to get back to you yesterday. Is the Fruit Machine made by GTPHydroponics? That's the only one I found off-hand in my search, haven't heard of it otherwise. If it is that one it looks like it only has amino acids and pgr's, no actual p or k?

Honestly I haven't had too much experience with the PK 13/14. The two times I added it I had issues from it. I also think you would leave the Cannazyme amount the same(it doesnt have any nutes really) and only lower the amount of A+B nutes you're using when you use the PK 13/14. Again though, I had issues with that. I am personally looking at just using a different nute all together for flowering, like maxibloom, thats already heavily weighted in the pk side and should do better for flowering.

A thing you could do tho, rather than use the full amount of pk 13/14 for one week like Canna says, just use like 1.5ml/gal for the next 3 weeks. You still get a boost but shouldn't mess anything up. Definitely be ready to adjust though if you do decide to use it.

Fruit Machine is a powerful bloom booster that will increase the fruiting ability of your plants. It contains a blend of ingredients that work to shorten internodal spaces and boost flowering sites. By reducing the length of the branches, the plant becomes more stocky and dense. A rise in flowering sites, as well as a boost to their size, means the plant will end up with a dense concentration of fruits.
Fruit machine has a unique blend of amino acids, triacontanol and other plant extracts, all for unleashing your plants potential. Amino acids form the bases of proteins which will make it far easier for the plant to synthesize what it needs. Triacontanol is a natural plant steroid that, among other things raise the rate of photosynthesis and CO2 absorption. Use Fruit Machine at a rate of 1-1.5ml per litre during weeks 2 and 3 of flowering. Always give plants a good flush at the end to remove residues from their tissues.

This is it... Ill try n find out who makes it - STELTHY :leaf:

yeah that's the one I found.
"it contains amino acods triacontanol and plant extracts."
So unless the bottle says otherwise then I think it doesn't actually have any nutrients in it, only additives. If so, you shouldn't need to stop using it if you decide to use pk 13/14 or whatever.

Just imagine what you will produce when you get a real light installed in there. That's quite the hodge podge of lighting you've got going on. Spend $200 and get a real light. Then throw all that bullshit in the trash can where it belongs. It hurt my stomach to see that madness in an otherwise good looking grow setup. For as small as that tent is you could get a nice $100 LED fixture (which I have 2 of collecting dust presently) from amazon that would be more than adequate. You clearly don't have a friend telling you how ridiculous all that shit is. I'll be that friend for you. You're welcome.

Edited. Thanks HolyAngel

Fixed. Thanks for pointing out the error :)

@jonnynobody Lol...to be honest, i have gone from CFL, Envirolites 250w to dual UFO 90w crappy LEDs to 600w HPS and now back to LED..all lighting in there at present are good quality lights ...5 of which are OpticLED all highly rated by Migrow..

The red far red ir and UV a and b and green led lights were just an experiment to see if they made much difference...so far gotta say regardless of how cramped and messy the lighting rig is....the results so far have been great !!

I will wait and see what the bud quality and denseness is like upon harvest and post curing... But minus the penetration intencity of the currant LED rig its out perfoming a 600w CMH and 600w HPS running on a Lumatek ballast with the super lumens switch flicked on..

I can honestly say budget LEDs off Amazon are not what I am looking for...am more interested in Blackdog and Kind and GavitaLED and Optic and Lumatecs latest LED contribution..and a couple of other high end rigs for my next grow in a 4 x 4 new tent... I wont rule them out entirely though...so post a few LINKs etc.. to the Amazon ones and ill check them out..- STELTHY :leaf:

Your results look great. I started off 12 years ago with 2x 150w HPS street light ballasts and $1 baking pan reflectors from the dollar store. 2 words: Ghetto fabulous. It was bad, and so were my results. Nowadays I run 2x 1000w HPS with hortilux bulbs in my flower room and 8 lamp high output t5's in my veg tents. Eventually I'll upgrade to LED, but the manufacturing costs have to come down first. For instance the LED unit I linked to below is $700 and covers a 3'x6'. That's considerably more costly for the initial investment than my HID setup. $1400 to replace my 2 current lights would hurt quite a bit, but dammit they are incredible and come with a nice warranty.

You're flowers are looking great and you're doing an awesome job with what you're working with. Keep on growing man :)

Electric Sky 300. Definitely not a value priced unit if top shelf quality is what you're after. Each unit covers a 3'x6'

I'd sooner build something than spend 700 for that. DIY strips or boards would do more output for less money. Or spend $45 less and get the HLG 550 V2 with 180 more watts and a better spread.

Checkout GreeneGene. He's up to date on the latest LED technology, and I'm pretty sure he builds his own boards. He's on RIU, instagram, and youtube. Good guy full of great knowledge.

Gonna have some nice weight there, damn. I don't envy your trim time lol
Whats she smell like right now?
Hi dude, Cheers buddy ...yeah trimming gonna be a mission LOL :D ..she's starting week 7 of 7..have backed the nutes down to a full dose (medium Canna feed chart) of just Cannazym..and used the last of the Canna Boost I have aprox 30 or 40ml...then tailing towards the end of the week ..ill begin her flush with just PH 5.8 tap water..and leave that flush open with no lids for a day or two to evaporate away the chlorine...then just UVA and UVB for 6 hrs and then 48hrs of darkness....then CHOP CHOP TIME !!!

As you open the tent you get a warm heavy B/O smell lol...but upon gently squeezing a Cola she releases a more appealing scent... Its hard to describe that smell...but theres 100 percent no mistaking that gorgous smell..

Need to pick up some more ONA Spray cos when harvest comes...man !! Shes gonna kick up a stench

Not sure whether to expect much or any / more swelling of her colas though... ? ...what ya reckon...? - STELTHY:leaf:
