That’s kinda trying to make excuses for a bad person, and I hate that. But it actually made me interested enough to look around to see if it’s true. But also…we aren’t talking about a Picasso here….

No, but reportedly you need to dry the seeds after purchase. Saw on IG that the seeds are "still alive" so people need to wait a couple months before popping them. Gives him a few weeks grace period before the complaints start rolling in, I guess.
