if I do like 14/8 would I be alright I work and I don't have a timer right now an from noon today.. or like 15/7 because I want to give them a dark period, without having to change my sleep schedule

I dont know whatcha growing ( auto or photo ) but 18/6 is a good cycle to grow .

I planned on 18/6 an that's what I'm using (Cfl) those are the only bulbs I'll be using throughout the grow..

Dont know what those schedules would do ... Other than make hermies possibly.
Go with 24/0 ( a couple of CFL on her ) isnt gonna kill you. Once she gets bigger put under a better light choice ... THEN when you have decided to flower ( either do to size or if plaint sexed ( auto ) you can go to 12/12 . Get a timer ... It is much easier to set and forget. If you run 24/0 for a week ( for example ) and go get a timer , you can reset cycle to 18/6 without drama.

Plus get a power strip . You can plug that into the timer , then timer to wall. You will be able to plug more lights CFL when needed.

hmm I'll go with the 24 hr for now and I'll get a timer soon.. an I'll put lights on the timer not the fans.. and it's just some bagseed from a while back..

alrighty so I said i would update as I went well today I gave the sprout nutes according to the schedule below, and I made 2 more cups except this time I put calmag an I ph'ed the coco coir and dropped the seeds right in.. I don't plan to keep all 6, jus tryna get at least 2 females
Edit; I also added 2 more cfls so 6 cups weren't sharing 2 bulbs..
