Grape Punch w/ cfls, T5s, in Fox Farm soil

I harvested half the grape punch at 8 weeks. Here is the rest of the plant at 9 full weeks. The XJ13 is still going to. The first 2 pics are GP, last 2 are XJ13.

The grape punch hermed on me. It was from clone, so I don't know if it was something I did or not... oh well.

Did you find that you had to water the hempy much more often than soil? I've been doing FFOF soil but thought hempys sounded cool. I travel fairly frequently though, so I'm worried that it would need to be watered more frequently than soil and not be a good idea for me. With soil, I can leave it for a long weekend (4-5 days?) and it's fine... even longer if I use some vacation watering products (inverted water bottles for example)
