Nailed a perfect 60% humidity on your bud... lucky sob, well done! I'm over here with 54% In the bag :cuss:
Lol i took the struggle bus to those conditions
After trimming, what I thought was ready to jar, ended up sitting on a rack for another few days.

All the rain we had shot my humdity up to 78% in the box for a couple hours

Humidity outside finally stabilized so everything inside settled down too.

Been holding 60% steady for couple days now in the Grove bag

Day 93 of 12/12 Day 78 of Flower

Currently in Week 12 of Flower on Francos Lemon Cheese. She was neglected over the last few days from all the Christmas madness. Had supercropped herself a couple times from packing on so much weight past couple weeks. Sooooo, nows she's a puppet lol. I sampled some of the branch that broke off a couple weeks ago and it was amazing then so can't wait for her to finish. Super lemony sweet house cleaner smell. Reminds me of pledge wood cleaner. Good energizing high with a clean smoke. Just waiting her out now.

Hey did you have any bacteria or mold/mildew build up in your humidifier at all? Like did it require weekly cleaning etc
I did have some type of buildup in the humidifier portion. Think it mostly came from running tap water thru it. I usually cleaned it once a week to keep any nasty stuff at bay

Good Evening RIU!!! Been pretty inactive over the past month, but thats for good reason!! The Laundry cabinet got a pretty big overhaul during january. In the end, running the three SIP totes worked out great in the cabinet, but just felt like it got a little too chaotic and too many issues that i had to fix on the fly. The idea of doing a living bed SIP started early on during the test run of the cabinet. Been thinking about it ever since lol. The very day after i chopped down the Francos Lemon Cheese, i got to work on cleaning up the cabinet and building shit haha.

A lot of searching for a reservoir large enough to fit the entire bottom of the cabinet, but kept coming up empty handed. Soooo I built one out of birch to fit snug in the bottom of the cabinet. The dimensions ended up being 35" W x 18"L x 6"H. This should be large enough to hold about 15-16 gallons of water for the wicks to sit in. The entire reservoir is covered in flex seal....a lot of flew seal haha. Put a water level sight tube on the front so i know when shes full. Ran some tests of its ability to hold water and every one went well and never leaked a drop.

Next up, a custom fit Grassroots Living Soil Bed. Contacted the company and inquired about having a custom dimension bed made for the cabinet. Excellent customer service and speedy overall process. Within a week of contacting them i had the bed on my doorstep and awaiting install!! Two 7" tall 5"x5" nursery pots make up the wicks, which were doubled up so i could sandwich the fabric that i cut on the bottom between the two pots. i then drilled a shit ton of holes lol. This will allow the wicks access to the water. The bed sits on top of the reservoir with added support from the pvc stand i built for it. The dimensions for the bed are 35 x 18 x 18, which will allow me to fit about 40 gallons of soil with plenty of room for top dressing and reamending once i harvest.

i remote mounted my drivers for the Viparspectra lights to the ceiling and also fix mounted the lights to the ceiling as well. Hoping this gives me enough headroom with getting everything as high as possible.

Also built a scrog screen that can be swung down once its ready to start tucking. i liked mainlining, but i still have a soft spot for scrogging and have decided to go back to it haha.

Figured out a different way to mount my fans using a tension bar in the upper area of the cabinet.

Here's whats been going on up top in the cabinet. i built a sealed off chamber for this homemade humidifier that i fashioned out of a 5 gallon tote, a 40mm waterproof pc fan, a 12volt controller for said fan, and ultrasonic mist-maker, some rubber gaskets and stainless steel screws to hold everything shut nice and tight, and finally the mist maker is plugged into my new ac infinity control system. i went with the Pro 69 controller with the wifi and bluetooth, also has vpd control capibility if i needed it. paired with a couple of the UIS outlet controllers im able to automate my humidifier and exhaust to keep everything in check.

having issues posting the pictures but heres a couple videos of the humidifier functioning.

Cheers!!

Finished everything off by making some removable panels. one houses the AC Infinity controller and i can access all of my electronics behind this panel. the other is a beauty board to conceal the humidifier and doubles as a white board for taking notes and whatnot.

few more things to do to the cabinet and i may be done.....maybe not haha.

Day uhhh... who knows, but we're rolling!!

Soooo everything has been working out quite well in the new digs. Off to a good start in the new 50 gallon SIP Bed. Funny story about what's running the first run in the bed. I asked my buddy if he wanted any cuts off my 3 plants I had from last run. I was going to be cleaning up underneath the canopy so he could have whatever i took off. Ended up getting 2 decent multi node cuts off each plant and gave them to him. Thing was, these plants were already 2-3weeks into flower haha. He took them and got them to root and spent the next couple months getting them to a point where they became viable moms for me whenever I needed cuts. Growing was put on hold so I could get the bed situated and going. When time came I was ready for some cuts he dropped a bomb on me. He had gone out of town and left the upkeep of his grow to his roommate and fellow grower...dude forgot the whole time. My man came back to a damn near fully dead garden. Mom's he had had for years. All dead. He was most bummed that he spent all that time revegging those cuts and thought they were gone. Hadn't heard from him in over a month and he came flying into my work one day yelling "I saved them!!!" LOL he said he threw everything he had at them to get them going again and it worked. He got all three Strains back to mom status for me. He don't label shit so I gotta figure out what's what but I ended up getting 2 rooted clones and 8 cuts off of him and got 6 out of the 8 to root. I threw the other two out and when I went to clean up the other day the clone I thought that was done for buried underneath old soil it shot roots thru the starter cube :o lol still went in the compost bin.

Other 2 that are kinda mainlined in the right side of bed are some beans I got from local guy. Grim Dog(Brothersgrimm) x Island Chill(Exotic Genetics) I topped both of those and got those to root as backups incase they are decent. Also in way back of Veg cabinet got a really decent male Alien OG from a single bagseed I found in a qp. Topped and cloned that before I found out it was male. The plant from seed got tossed just didn't have room for the 1 gallon it was in.

Big cabinet is rolling, little cabinet is rolling. Sorting things out but enjoying all of it.

Day 14 of 12/12

Things are still rolling in the ol cabinet. Chopped one plant out last week after it threw some nuts on the broken side of the plant (lost a whole main after a cover panel up tip in the cabinet fell down)

The Grimm Dogg x Island Chill is a very tall growing plant. I cloned her first top and just recently gave it to my dad in a 5 gallon SIP to throw out doors. It was about 20 inches tall when I transplanted out of 1 gallon. In the living bed, the main plant, has been trained basically every few days throughout this grow. First week of stretch she was 10 inches above the scrog screen. Once the chopped plant was removed I was able to spread her out and make her even across the canopy with the remaining two clones from my last run.

Here's to hoping the screen fills out nicely. I think I'm done tucking but will still continue to prune under canopy to clear out anysuckered.

Little before and after through the eye of the grow cam.
Grow cam, but of course u'd have one of those. LOL
LAB, wow man, u think of everything. Now is lab just for use
with a hydro grow, or what? and as it feeds, can it also be used to
clear out any drains, valves, sprinkler heads, etc?
