Well, the old lady wants to see if I can get anything to grow using sh!t lying around the house before she'll let me buy a tent and all the cool little goodies. It sucks being laid off, I can't really argue with her lol.
So my setup is fuck!ng wacked out. I don't know if this will work or not. It's working so far. The little guy/gal has good color and is growing good BUT........ I'm worried about later on.
Don't laugh. I have a rubbermaid container lined with cheap-o tin foil all on the inside and covering the top (except for where the light fixture hangs in). A 150w cfl bulb with cheap Homedepot reflector cone thingy. Scott's Potting Soil. A little space heater with a timer I had left over from like 12 years ago.
Maybe this will work but I have no way to test the soil and it's pretty dry in that closet. She is freaking out about me getting a little humidifier because of the space heater.
So, is this doomed to fail or do I have a chance to make anything happen? Any suggestions to get the humidity up in there?

A bucket or bowl etc of water in the room uncovered will raise humidity.

ive been trying a bowl in my tent to no avail. hum still steady 27% . i have 3 bowls almost a gallon split between the 3, and 2 1 gal water jugs sitting in there as well. i can fit my hand in the mouth of the water jug. trying to find something that works better.

Thanks man good to hear as i said first time and don't really know what it should or shouldn't look like at this point. (well i know they should have flowers) lol. One of the big blues top fan leaves on main cola are slowly turning yellow like the flowers are pulling extra nut's out of them I think this is common, but it is not going on with the other one...? Should I be concerned about this? Again thanks for taking a look and helping out.

I have a 2x3x5 feet tent. I buying a carbon filter and fan combo 200 CFM. I have a 150w HPS, 2-inline exhaust and 1-inline intake booster duct fans I using now to circulate the air. I'm growing 2 auto Blue Mystics in my tent and 2 Master Kush regular seeds in my closet. I plant to veggie the MK for about 6 weeks and then flower 2weeks before moving them to the tent, by that time the BMs should be done. I want to eliminate any sweet odors my babies give off. Here's some pics of my Tent.
How would you set up the carbon filter and fan ( I want it inside the tent) if this is what you had to work with? I really don't have a clue of how to set it up to ensure no odor escapes the tent. I live in an apartment and this is a must.

Having a activated carbon filter as a scrubber running inside the tent 24/7 should eliminate most if not all the odor. I attached my carbon filter with chains to the top part of the frame of my tent, but the frame is a little bit more extensive in mine since it's custom.
Also, I have an ozone generator running inside my tent in addition to the filter. Not sure if it's necessary, but just saying I don't know what the smell level would be like in my tent without it.

Hey Supaleeb, thanks so much for the information. I'm growing strains (2-Master Kush, 2-Blue Mystic) that suppose to have a neutral smell, but my 1st grow, 2-blue mystics definitely had a smell, not an overpowering smell but one you can smell as soon as you walked in my apartment. You know that smell when you walk into someone's place who had just smoked a joint/blunt. I want to eliminate even that smell, that's why I think the carbon filter/fan will help ease my worries.

hello fellow tent growers, i have a 4x4 tent with a 1000w light system and a 600w system. i'm not sure which system to run as of yet. i like the 600 but wonder what i could grow with the 1000w. my beans are in the states just waiting on usps. i will be growing with the ebb & drain hydro system on a table. i've been doing a lot of reading and leaning towards the scrog ayatem but i also like the sog style. i dont know which girl to grow first? i have chocolope,lemon skunk, LA confidential, bubba kush, violator kush, any help with picking a girl to grow first will help me get some sleep lol. the next problem is the fans, i do have two six inch inline fans, i would like to put co2 in the tent when it's time but i'm not sure if it's worth the 300$. could i just use the 2 fans one on the filther and the other on the light which is a blockbuster?all help is needed. i have grown in soil in this tent.28 seven inch pots but it took like forever to finish. thanks family

I am a first timer, but I think widow is right they look very ummm not happy. It also kind of looks like a cluster fu*k coming out of the room. LOL But i like the place you put the baby's. and in the last couple the plants look well on the way!! I also have a 4/4 and have two big blues and a purp. I am trying to figure out how I am going to make some more room in there to fit a couple more in the next go around!! Best of luck and happy growing!!!!
