Hey all. New grow year is upon us here in Newfoundland. I started these girls inside in jiffys, 3inch nets, and coffee mugs using kratky method. Seeds popped on may 6, this pic is may 15. 20200515_161440.jpg

On may 20 I started acclimating the youngsters to the outdoors. The wind here is fucked and in may, frigid, so I did this on fair days only during that week.

May 26, I topped the OG kush, Blue-cookies, and CBD+, with intentions of nebula manifolding. The Crit+2 split into 2 tops exactly where I wanted. Shes a freak.

Later I decided against on nebula, and just let em go.

So on the 27th, they went outside permanently. Built some new bubbleponics tanks.

It's as close to lucas as I can get with what I have.

June 17. I started pruning a couple large fans that tended to shade the center of my plants. Just a couple here and there.

Here are the Blueberry cookies (top) and OG kush (bottom)Screenshot_20200704-013429_Grower Helper.jpg

And here is the super freak, Critical+2.0. With recent lst.Screenshot_20200704-013453_Grower Helper.jpg

And I re topped the CBD+ to try to salvage this one.

So lately not much to show. Trim a few shade leaves here and there. LST. June 24.Screenshot_20200704-014939_Grower Helper.jpg

I topped up my tanks before going on a 5 day trip to my cabin. Leading up to, and during my absence, we had a heatwave. 30°C, high humidity and intense sun. I was worried about my tanks drying out. Instead I came home to this... July 4

Anywho that's up to speed now. I'll keep posting as I go. Let me know how I'm doing. This is my first multi plant year. I've only done single plants a few times before and would like feedback. Also I'll answer any questions as best I can.

P.s. All seeds are Dinafem, ferts are Vertigro and Epsom

And a wide shot

Been thinking about taking some clones and making some feminized pollen to self and cross. Maybe something interesting could come of it...

Plants had a play date with a few of my friend's plants while she was in town. She is a first time grower and was afraid to top it. It was a bit tall for topping so I cut between node 4 and 5 ( I think!? Maybe it was 5 and 6...)

Took the tops and lazily attempted to clone them for her. We will see what happens there...

Anyways on to my plants. One of my tanks is thirsty. The water level was down to 20L. OG is looking droopy and sad. And BC it's looking a little droopy as well.

20200705_205320.jpg

So took the opportunity to rinse the tanks and do a full nute swap on both. Here's the other two.

Changed from Lucas formula to one I found on icmag, by a fellow named Spurr. It works out better for the nutes I'm using as I am burning through part b way fast using the lucas profile. Here's his formula:

Spurr.jpg

In my incarnation of Spurr formula it has slightly higher Nitrogen and calcium. But I dont have anything contributing silicon...

We will see if it has an effect

Last week I had a big problem with wind blowing over my crit+. The rim of the cheap netcup I used is no longer structurally sound, and it falls through the hole in my lid under the weight of this thicc bitch haha. Never thought I'd have that problem. So I bipoded each side of her to hold her in place. The dinamed is still growing under her canopy and I've all but lost hope for it.

Today I took some wide pictures of these plants for comparison sake.
