Show me please where I said it can?
I do not think I did, and I do not think that helps with the question.

To me it is simple domain logic.
1) The USPS operates within the USA.
2) USPS interacted with the parcel to op’s detriment.
3) Since the point of receipt was not in USPS territory, point 2 drives the conclusion that it was sent from within USA territory, within all of which it is by definition unlawful.

If that is silly, I’ll ask for you to lay it out a bit better.

Suggesting sarcastically being equated with suggesting-
“Suggesting sarcastically” is still suggesting. Unfortunately :hump:

I've struggled with these questions, running similar scenarios in my mind, with ordering bud, concentrates from some of these online sellers that ship. Some of them also sell cocaine and meth and opium, etc and I always come to the conclusion that it isn't worth the risk. Man would I like some genuine Moroccan hash or Nepalese Temple balls. Maybe one day it will change.

Back in the day they sent these letters when you got caught shipping seeds. From all sources and experiences that doesn't happen anymore..

Stay away from shipping anything you think will get you 'caught'.

They don't care as much about seeds as they do weed and other drugs. It also depends who's working and figures out its weed.

Shipping to an illegal state also puts you at higher risk. There's still some people out there that are totally against weed, and they're more likely to be in areas that aren't as cool about it as CO, or CA.

@jasonryan00 , I hope you're still with us.

When I saw one of these sites that sells hash and flowers was also selling crystal meth, and they were based in Germany, I knew something was up. Yeah right is that getting through customs. I think there are many online traps/stings that may even be setup and run by the police.

The guy at the hydroponics store has a showcase on the counter selling seeds from a local breeder and from several breeders out of state. I think we're winning the seed war. One day I think mailing hash will be like sending someone a bar of chocolate.

They probably don't actually have any of that. Just stealing money from desperate fools.

you're likely correct... but if it were a police sting, I wouldn't be shocked. police don't play by the rules either and invest big bucks sending out fishing lures to see who bites...

I had a good laugh recently when a ad popped up on instagram and it was claiming to ship wax and rosin in quantities from grams to ounces and even LB's of flower, if that's not a honey pot to catch people i don't know what is

I know a guy who tried buying off online shops/ig like your talking about. He had gotten extorted for money for awhile before he ended up getting pinched on a routine traffic stop and ratting on guys.

Only a moron would order any kind of illegal drug online - whether facebook ( fake carts ) / dark web or silkroad like site.
How would you know what has been stepped on or tainted ?
Facebook used to ( kind of leveled off ) have “ mario carts “ …. Which endedup being eBay available packaging with artwork and “ suspect “oil.

I’m sure a cocaine / Ice drop to your residence would pretty much gain our their attention.

A buddy of mine said he could send me lbs from out west. I said no fucking way. Seeds Ill do. Weed, or any other drug?? No fucking way.

It IS illegal to send anything with THC, or any other kind of drug through the mail, and is a Federal Felony. Youre using the USPS in commission of a crime. Weed is still federally illegal.
Send shit at your own risk.

Also the person receiving the package isnt responsible, until they open the package. Then theyve had it.
