Been reading the local papers .wondered on the weather. How is it,amount of rain ect. And what about the people. You moved from there why? YUCCAZOO

Once your on the Peninsula (past Bremerton) it's mainly white people fighting with the native americans, fisherman and loggers, that is what it is comprised of. The scenery is beautiful: lots of rivers, lakes, mountains, and the ocean. In Port Angeles the weather stays between averages of 45-70 throughout the entire year, with the occasional 80s and 90s late summer. Rains more in Port Angeles too, probably less than 100 hundred days out of the year that it does not. Sequim is only 14 miles away but is considered the "Banana Belt" set in somewhat of a valley. It rains less there and the temps range a bit off of PA. Much drier in the summer. It is however, a town that is full of retirees from mainly California. We who resided there referred to them as Q tips. Lots of senior citizens. Mainstream seems to be Republican, conservative, narrow minded, unfortunately a lot of racism and that is why we are so happy to be in an area (Eugene) that has cultural diversity and liberal ways.

The Olympic Peninsula is a true beauty and a wonderful place for a family its just majority of the people seem to feel like their race is superior. Generally people on the street are kind and say hello. We don't want to bash it but Eugene is the polar opposite.
