l bought a used tote 250gal and 50gal drum which l use till big. Mix nutes in tote or drum, pump to ladies, lm an outlaw l dont count plants l grow em!
Goddamn, how tall are ya? Eat a sandwich. JK, i weigh nothing also. Better things in life than food, like drugs and sex

Anyways i'm going to go dump 5 gallons of water in it. Stop me now, if it's drowned it'll be all your fault
Just go slow take time dont flood, let those roots feel the water just, dont water rootball, ever now, start at outside of old growth make the roots work youll be happy

Figured as much, since the root core already got a lot of hydration today. It's the outsides i'm gonna water. I'll get there someday, probably get a shit job this summer, save and buy some land for next summer so i can go bigger.
you are going to grow a monster. That tote will do it, youll be watering everyday by july
Was just thinking that, probably almost no need to even take it out of this now, unless worst case scenario it breaks since it's a bit flimsy. I saw a pic of a 1 lb plant outdoors and it was in a smaller container than this

Am staying away from drugs atm, not weed, not a drug! Just kicked needle after almost 20 years, 6 weeks good, still withdrawling, cant eat sleep fuck all. Barely care for plants, but l raise survivors.

They grow pretty big in 15 gal smart pot, smallest l have, need dolly to move when wet, foget moving 50gal smartpots, l can barely spin them to break roots off.

If it breaks, every good tale starts by digging a hole.

Weed isn't a drug, agreed. The only drugs i've actually tried are cocaine, xanax and shrooms. Coke makes me a bad person, xanax just put me to sleep, and shrooms put me in the hospital. Have a drink once in a blue moon, usually when i'm out of weed, but it also makes me a bad person. Can't go wrong with weed imo. Almost got the smart pots but didn't wanna wait for delivery since no one around here sells them so rubbermaid tote it is.

Just gave it 2 gal, it looks pretty saturated to me. 6 gal / 18 gal is like a 33% ratio and i've also heard a 10% ratio recommended so my best guess is you just gotta follow your gut and i'm sure it'll be ok so imma let it chill out for a bit now. Just add dirt since watering because now the rootball and the watered area makes it look like an island.

I have one thought for you. Do you realize you will need barn doors to bring a large plant inside. As well as really high ceilings. Here are 10'ers in five gallon holes. And yes five gallon holes in hard clay. VeryView attachment 4895199 small root balls.
That is a very good thought and a bit concerning. Guess i'll cross that bridge when i come to it

2 gallon starts in pot. Then an almost five gallon hole. 10' with a topping or three. Monsters are stationary after July. At least here. LOL. 006.jpg001.jpg

They get big outside, couple of pounds is small, 10 -20lb plants are big. With water as an available resourse they can be 25 to 30 lbs of weed on a plant. Think big, as much roots there will be fruits.

Looking beautiful to me. I could only dream of pulling that off. This is only my second grow (failed last summer) and still a test, a science experiment, i just basically wanted to get a pound out of it so i wouldn't have to buy weed for awhile. That's my goal this summer. Or just keep say an ounce for myself, and totally absolutely in no way receive any kind of currency for the remaining 15 oz. Who could think of such a thing??

Honestly start small. Perfect your medium, watering, feed and doting. Then go big. A pound does not take 200#'s of dirt. LMAO! I can do it in 5. Or so I believe. Don't weigh. Non profit. And I endorse, support and promote non profit.

Never liked the uptown train, always down town, tried the ups dont like, any of it. Keep it or give away, have fun growing it. I love growing. Its gives me my purpose. For long long time. All summer lm happy in the garden, doing chiopractic snaps to all branches and stems. Kushman crack on you tube. Strengthens plants up alot, mine dont blow or fall over, this year im scrogging everything. Fence is five feet tall so plants got to stay around 3 ft all year., a foot of pot, 18 inches more accurate dont leave much room.

My biggest pots are 2 75 gal resivoirs, 8 ft tree isnt big. Ten 50gal, totes too they can get pretty big, 5 lbs aint a big plant, l grow huge tomatoes too. Caged one last year 9 ft anyway, tomatoes stayed green, feeding weed not tomatoes this year. Ptobably 30 tomatoes bigger than softballs by twice. Tasted good when rippened. But someone stole plants got depressed and said piss on it

Apologies to the OP again. My derailment ensues and follows.

Maybe just maybe i'll get more than a pound then, ya never know. At this point it's mostly gonna be the transition to permanent outdoors i'm worried about, but i'll do my reading. It should still be manageable size i.e. bring indoors at night by that point, first couple weeks at least, bring inside and give a few more hours light. i don't expect it to get absolutely immobile until later in the summer.

Agreed, i'm naturally neurotic and anxious so weed is for me. Have insomnia so helps me sleep. Coke is bad news (for me), shrooms just made me go nuts. Don't think hallucinogens are my thing, guess i'm a lightweight oh well

Drained out the bottom, i think that's a pretty good indicator of waterage so nitey nite i'll check on it in the morning. Y'all have been splendid with your help and i'll keep ya posted
