You been here since 2008 and you act like this trend is something new? really man. When will you just accept its human nature to ask people such as RIU with a huge number of knowledgeable people to give them their opinion than read up. Rather have a human talk to me then read.this is what I wonder?
Most new threads are people with enough posts talking shit giving advice but then they have problems like this lmao...

Then you as a mod come in here bashing OP for asking a silly question. Pathetic
I thought i had read to put molasses in to your res....as a matter of fact i did read on another forum that you can use molasses on hydro from some person that had been on the site for a long time plus i dont have any money to buy any of those products you mentioned....i did flush my res and put everything back in there and this time i put about half as much molasses in it and the water while a little brown from the molasses theres no sign of gunk or foamDump your res and replenish with fresh clean water.
Allow it to run and then dump and replenish with your nute mix.
Molasses can cause all sorts of gunk to form in your tubes and pumps etc.
Not only that but the longer molasses is in a system the more it impacts on pH.
Doesn't anyone read any more before dumping stuff into their plants.
Molasses has very little nutritional elements that can actually be absorbed via the roots without a thriving microherd in your rhizosphere.
Carbs are mainly for feeding good bacteria and fungi within a predominantly organic grow.

Thanks dude............And i very rarely give advice for the record this is my first real grow and i have done a butt load of research to help me along but when i read something that says DO IT, I do it and when theres negative side effects thats when i come on hereYou been here since 2008 and you act like this trend is something new? really man. You did your research on it?provide calcium and magneseum some iron and sugar for the buds im starting my 5th week of flower and i dont know what everyone is talking about about the molasses helping the herd when only in soil how is water any different what makes the mag and cal unusable by the plants if only in water........i did some supplemental research and a lot of peolpe said the only difference they saw between blackstrap and the expensive stuff was their pocketbook and there was a bunch of hydroponic fruit farmers that use it
\You did your research on it?
I just typed in"using molasses in hydroponics" in the goolgle search bar. If you do that you will be surprised at what you find.
