I just use scissors. I don't like grinders.
Nothing wrong with scissors i know a couple people that only use them.
When I use scissors I usually use my fiskar trimmers and cut it up in a shot glass works well and contains the mess.
Used to use my fingers and scissors but now I’m all gun shy after knicking my finger while chopping up my last crops stocks into my compost binCCD9AC8A-79B3-4638-926D-6004B141E7FB.jpeg

I roll up around 3 lbs a year into joints for personal consumption, and haven't shed blood yet. I've had a few close calls, but my trimmers are usually so caked with resin, that they aren't all that sharp. I did just get a new pair, which isn't all gummed up yet, so have to be cautious for now.

What herb grinder does everyone use? I just lost mine and it was a no name thingy that didn't really work that well so wondering some input on a good one to buy, I'm leaning towards a Kozo https://amzn.to/2OT1MGB or the golden gate https://amzn.to/38UKYpK

thoughts? what do you use?
I use the KOZO grinder. The one I have has a window. It measures 2.5 x2.5 It feels well made and I definitely recommend it.

As a Santa Cruz local myself, I feel like I should represent and have a Santa Cruz Shredder, but how do I justify spending $90 on a shredder when my $5 scissors work great? I mostly roll joints too, usually around 6 a day give or take a couple/few.
Yeah they're super pricey but my grinders kept falling apart. The screen would fall out or the metal piece where you put bud and grind it up and I couldn't grind. My current grinder is aluminum/metal and its turning brown sadly. I'm just looking for a grinder that will last me years to come

I’ve had my spacecase’s for 9+ years no issues all sizes, someone stole my medium.
Definitely recommend buying directly from the manufacturer as there are a ton of fakes not made of quality metal.

the SCS is worth the money and I’m considering replacing my medium SC that was lost after using my GF’s for two years

I learned my lesson with fakes lol. I ordered a $15 grinder off amazon, the companies website had it for $30 and it literally started falling apart after 6 months to a year Screen, teeth, etc. Ill probably buy a SCS here soon. I've heard a lot of connoisseurs use/recommended SCS too

I love my blue bus ceramic coated grinder, it doesn't gum up like my old ones. You just don't want to scrape the finish trying to clean it and treat it like its glass. Other companies have ceramic coated grinders too , whatever brand you choose, I'd get one with that coating

I've been using a HOJ KLIP off and on the last 6 months. It can be finicky if your bud isn't cured right. If the flower is too damp it tends to hinder the normal smooth action. The end result provided a noticeable increase in flavors and a more even and consistent burn when rolled. I recently sent one along with the KOL pipe to my father, he's been using scissors for about 5 decades. He digs it. He commented that he had to slow down a bit since the pipe delivers such a large, cool hit. Man, they are pricey, the high quality piece is heavy, machined and finished extremely well. For me the juice is worth the squeeze. Have a great day. TC

It looks really well designed and built, thank you for showing this!
I wonder how it gets after a year of hard use,how often do you need to clean it?

it has some cool features, the actual grinding ‘blade’ looks cool. The funnel thing is pretty niche but still a well engineered add-on.

I like you can change the screen size for different consistency of grinding at will too.
I prefer a medium grind if I’m rolling a joint and super fine for vape’s
