Arrrrrrggggghhhh :o:o:o:o:o I have insects in my room. Ohooooooooo. I thing they are leafhoppers. Going to get some neem spray first thing tomorrow. And i will see what other remedies the grow shop has for me. Any advice would be great too.
Im going to wipe these out asap. There were only 3 that i came across but where there are some there are sure to be more. A little on what they look like.

Small, slender, light brown colored. No bigger than 1 mil in length. i was watching 1 and before i could kill it. It made a jump and disapeared real fast.

Anyway i am doing an update of the lady's despite the problems. ( soon to be dealt with )......

Its Day 11 flower. The lady's have put on some real good growth and there are a ton of bud sites. i have watered today and turned and moved some of them.

here are some pic's..

Hey jeff. Do you have a link for that. Plzzzzzzz
Just purchased some Hot shots no pest strips online, only thing is that they are being shipped from the states so might be 10 days or so before they arrive. In the mean time im getting some neem spray tomorrow to hold the insects at bay.

I fecking hate insect. Im goint to take the Lady's out of the room tomorrow and give them the neem and then i'll be cleaning the room from top to bottom with jays fluid.

Your messing with the wrong grower this time insect's, i have a bad case of OCD and your on my hit list. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM:fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire:

:spew:you prob have too many plants to do it this way but you can make soap bubbles and coat your entire plants like 3 times a day and the insects will get traped in the bubbles and die. but you have co2 right? im not sure the ppm but if you raise ur co2 to a certain ppm insects cant survive =D just look it up sure you u can find it GL dan the exterminator!:fire::fire:
edit also there are insects you can purchase for another organic type of pest control if you can identify the pest some hydro stores cary the insects to wipe em out later

Predator insects are good too. Lady bugs & praying mantis are always a big help as long as they can't escape the room into your crib

hey Dan sorry to hear about your problem

try raising your ppm Co2 to 1500 for around 30mins a time. .

also because you are early in flower you could also use a doktor doom fogger. there is also PESTOFF made from starch thus safe to spray on buds. sticky traps yellows and blues on steaks at plant level.. a germicidal UV-C lamp for aquariums will disrupt DNA of small insects and stop them reproducing short 15 seconds blasts depending on wattage of lamp. extreme caution needed when using UV-C !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .

i am also using neem repel .
in future i will be using everything listed as precautionary measures.

Good luck looks nice one good rule of thumb is to have more air going out than in helps keep it cool and fresh watch for humidty so you dont get powder mold.:bigjoint: oh and clen ur room each cycle have fun

Hey J lad. I just purchased some doctor doom fogger, should be here in a couple of days. Today when i get home im going to take the Lady's out of the room and clean the room. I will then put the Lady's back 1 at a time after i spray with neem. Once they are all sprayed im going to give them a good shot of Co2 to like 2500 ppm as required to disrupt insect larva. Im not upset by having bugs. I just see it as a challenge that i will win. I also have ( hot shots no pest strips ) coming from the states and it should be here within next week.

These mofo insects dont know who i am...lol Thinking they can come in my house and jump on my plants, They will all be gone in the next few days im sure of it.

Make sure you dont underestimate them .
check your medium for any crawlers when watering. it takes me about 2 hours to water and check 4 plants.

CHECKLIST
growing medium - water WAIT look at exactly the same spot for any movement you will notice any other movement in your periferals anywhere else
leaves - damage, holes , silvery marks, eggs , insects check underside and tops
stems or branches - insects eggs or damage

Also check your run off for any soil larvae. when i had thrips the larvae would be visible in the runoff .. if you have soil pests (u can get them in coco) then apparently GNATOFF will help stop many other sucking pests from feeding on your roots.

another possibility is DIATOMACEOUS EARTH like lots of little razor blades and can be used as a medium too.
GO FREDDY KREUGER ON EM and slice them up. it cuts their exoskeleton which causes them to dehydrate and if ingested by them cuts them from the inside out. can also be dissolved into water to make a sspray.

a pleasure as always

Hey pal. i have seem my boy at the grow shop and he says i have a small nat infestation. He game me a few remedies free of charge as we get along quite well ( prob coz im his best customer lol ) so im going to put them to use this afternoon. one is a solution that i spray on to them and the other i water the medium with. Hew say's that it will stress them a little but they will be ok in a couple of days. but then i must reapply again to make sure of any eggs that hatch. I will keep an update of how thins go with this. Oh and i have a sticky trap on every pot now so they should help too.

Its not a major infestation but if left it will be.

Im coming for you insects. No mercy will be shown, Im taking NO prisoners....:fire::fire::fire::fire::fire:

Mate i don't plan on any losses. Im one of the most methodical people in the world according to my nearest and dearest. I will check every single leaf, stem, pot, container, floors, walls , lights exposed areas, Outside the room, inside the room, fans, ducts, switches, feeding tools. Just about any and everything. Like j said there not to be under estimated but they should also not under estimate me ether..........:fire::fire::fire::fire::fire:

Sorry I could not post a link faster for the Hot Shot Strips but it seems you found them okay. They were referred from a die hard forum member over @ Cannabis.com. I have used them with superb results. They have been heavily scrutinized as everything is in the weed world, and passed with flying color! When you get them, just place it in there for a few days until they disappear. They will not effect the plants in any way. I know growers that try everything to control their bug problem. A stubborn local here just put one in as a last ditch effort to control his mite problem. The next day, all the mites were dead.

If you want to kill bugs with co2, you need to jack the ppm's higher then 1500. Most growers with burners turn the knob to 10,000 ppm for 30 minutes to kill off all bugs. 1500 ppm will not do a good enough job @ killing them, although it will slow them down.

Thanks for the info Jeff. I have some dilute no Nat/thrips solution that i will be applying today in to the top 2 inch of medium and i also have a really good sprayable solution for the foliage also being applied today. This should keep the numbers from rising anymore. and last thing tonight Im going to crank the Co2 up so that it reaches 10,000 ppm and this should help. Im going to turn all the fans off for this so that the room gets the best dose i can give. This again will hopefully kill some of the little F*****s whilst i wait for the hot shots no pest strips to arrive. I will monitor this daily and let you know how Im getting on.
