out of over 100 of those sacs on the two branches less than ten look yellow(and possibly open/dying) So we'll see :(. Its been tough giving them a lot of attention lately, as i've been busy at work. So imma put in my time today to prevent any further contamination/other problems. This is the maui wowie strain

Attached are a bunch of new pictures of my plants. (I've tried to especially take pics of the worst off plants so i can get advice on fixing them goin forward from ppl who solved these probs already) The plants are now about 5 weeks into flowering on 12/12. about 80.4F at the canopy top, 55-60%RH. They get the recomended 5tablespoons/ gallon of Fox farm Big Bloom every three days or so. Otherwise I've been just watching them grow, and clipping off the rough spots on the plants and moving the light up so they don't burn.

I know there are some problems here but im pretty happy overall for my first grow as long as I get 4oz of smokable bud out of this at the end. Though I would prefer 10!!!

I would appreciate any comment to help me get there. Here are some of the concerns I haven't been able to solve just yet:

1) thin frail leaves on a few plants & leaves bending under on a few plants
2) burnt leaves(dunno if this is nute/wind burn/blah- cause it seems to be in random places throughout the grow... but i clip em and sometimes they stay gone sometimes they come back - lol)
3) main stem bending towards light(tall plants on the outer perimiter)
I've tried to keep the largest plants on the outside so the small ones get more light and catchup... oddly the ones on the outside seem healthier/fuller although they haven't started flowering yet.
4) new bugs, little baby slugs?/no wings. gonna move all the plants and clean today.

I think they look pretty decent. But please take a look at pics and let me know what you think. Bad or good- DONT BE SHY ;) And most important please let me know if i should be doing anything significantly different from here to harvest. Thanks a million!

ok

#1 question:
the "clawing " is usualy nute a tad strong. dont worry. mine do it to, border line to much.
#2: both nute burn and a deffecientcy, could still be from earlyer on. or burn.
do the new growth do it to????

#3: try to keep something under them to raise them to the same level. not a big concern though.

#4: get a pic of the slug things.

make sure you remove the males, probably to late but oh well. you can still smoke it. it mat slow down to produce seeds now.
wa6tch for thos yellow bananas in the buds.

oh almost forgot, now that it shot it`s load you need to clean the hell out of that room or it will fuck your next crops. water, water water. clean clean

KK thanks.

those slugs are really small- i dont know if i can catch a picture. They might not be slugs but some small bug without wings. anyway i justed bleach-watered the room from wall to wall. ill get a picture if they continue to bother.

I took them all out for a watering. I must find an easier way to do this next grow- I promise you i just spent 8 man hours, moving plants, cleaning trays, phing water, watering, phing nuted water, watering, trimming, cleaning the room and putting them back in their home.

yikes i am worn out..... ill try to find something to raise the small ones. Thanks again for the advice..

When do you stop using flowering nutes Bonz?

Status update-- anxiously awaiting harvest here. I have 20 confirmed female plants. and at least as many more undetermined...

I've ditched the previous male plants. But i have some new pics with questions to see if i need to remove or alter them...

I understand that the little banana shaped objects(usually in packs of ten ++) are spores/males, which release pollen, right?

But then there are these large balls(pic 2, 2 nodes down) which are what? what is the difference? are these male spores also or are they pollinated flowers? I only seem to see these on plants with buds already growing.

looks ok. those are calyxes.
one on each side of the branches and usualy on the lower side.
your plants look a bit streatched , how far away is your light?

the other pic`s are to blury

light is 6 t0 18 inches from plants.

Thanks for the confirmation. Some other posts seem to suggest calyxes are 'balls' and i couldn't quite figure out who is right :P

calyxes will only have 2 under the stem of the fan leaf. balls come above and are more of them, and usualy smaller

bug problems have all gone away and Im back to just watchin em grow.... slow process -lol

Here are some assorted pics.

A most have begun flowering now (the small ones that have flowered the longest have pale yellowing leaves) and several of the largest and thickest stemmed ones have not begun flowering yet.

Please leave any thoughts/suggestions...
