I have a grinder but rarely use it. I either do scissors or hands because I prefer to roll mine a little chunky. I feel like they burn slower like that instead of finely ground up. When it's like a powder I tend to inhale crumbs and I hate that. I also feel like the less damage done to the nug, and the less contact it has with objects, the more trichs are left intact. I also break up my buds directly over my rolling papers to catch all the crystals that do happen to fall off
