dont get me wrong, im not a "go green" nut, i just prefer to keep it organic because its simple and natural

but i would love to hear everyone's organic growing methods! all you "go greeners" and simple folk like myself, let me know how you get it done!. :bigjoint:

Personally,
I use..
-Chicken Manure
-Steer Manure
-Natural soil in my yard (very rich)
-Fish Emulsion
-Rock Phosphate
-Natures Nectar Phosphorus (occasionally)

how about you??

oganic is a silly subject, everyone has there own opinion on what is organic. Just call it organic if you want to feel better about it.

I always start my seeds in a soil-less mix until they are sexed, then i add them into the ground with a good compost, Dolomite-lime & amendments to last about a month. When i make my own fertz. i use around a 20-20-20 N.P.K. ratio when i go full strength in veg & like a 5-8-10 + molasses in flower. I mix the fertz, water & 2 hand fulls of compost for 3 days w/ an air pump to help break down the fertz to make it easier on the plants when you feed.

I compost leaves and grass clippings, and mulch heavily, with them, even in the greenhouses.

I use a variety of commercial fertilizers as well.

I ran into a top horticulturist a decade ago, on a gardening site. Over the next year, we discussed chemical vs organic nutrients. He convinced me that in healthy soil, judicious use of chemical fertlizers is beneficial to soil health and productivity.

Prior to that, I'd gardened organically for decades.

No regrets!
