set it on a fake gps program and used a old simcard for photos

bricking your phone will happen but stay calm it is fixable

Im not sure about other carriers but sprint, uses something called sprint ID.apk, When you snap photos the location is stored in metadata through this app by tower triangulation regardless of location setting. Deleting this app alone wipes that problem but you cant delete it without root access. Pulling the metadata on a pc does not have lat/long after uninstalling this app. But snapping photos with gps on will just put thr metadata back. Doesn't change or add any hassle to the phone however, i would not attempt to root without atleast a little bit of programming and sdk knowledge. Other phones might have a hard code for metadata stored in the kernel, inevitably and eventually someone will figure how to re-code it. Bricking phones is pretty hard to do nowdays but i would imagine it still happens

yah all cell phones now can use the 3 tower trig move .......and all phones now have a gps system for 911 calls (standard since 2000 something ) and the police can access that GPS at anytime even it is turned offed

why the fake GPS it mimics real gps same data feed and everything just alters the timing so u are located some place else ........rose garden of the white house personal fav for my photos on here

Interesting, they can track without the battery installed? If so, then yeah shit out of luck lol if not, pretty easy to disable hardware like that via os kernel hacks.

i tested

i used the fake gps and set the phone in the middle of the desert 2300 miles away from me

used the find my phone program on the computer and it was registered where i had the GPS at ......the towers they still get me but they will go off GPS first so some time

something in the patriot act .......your phone can be used as a mic or video camera anytime they want ......even some of your game apps are really virus to take over control of the phone when they want

make them for a house ........ppl wireless will only work in the house ....no one from ouside could access

sell to biz ppl to protect system from wireless attacks........i am sure u can join one already started (digital attacks are the new atom bomb shelters)

I am fully aware of what hardware drivers get utilized when they aren't supposed to on my rooted phones such as mics ect.. But if it has a geocap like the ones you put in animals, im not sure how one would fool a stand alone device. As far as games and shit, yeah most of those do more then load a game lol
