How to Keep LOW HUMIDITY During Flower - Without a DEHUMIDIFIER.???

Over the last 2 months the hobby grow I started, to raise some extra money, has wiped out my savings and left me with empty pockets.
For this reason buying something as costly as a DEHUMIDIFIER is simply not an option.

Does anyone know any ways to keep Relative Humidity very low, without using a Dehumidifier...??

Move to a place where there is low humidity.... I'm sure you could of moved somewhere with all the money you spent.. lol kidding

What is the humidity in the surrounding room that your plants are in?

If it is lower, push your warm air farther away, and suck in more air from the local area.

Hi NorthofEngland, NorthWestofEngland here, have you tried increasing the airflow in the room/tent, cheap fan could help some. What's your humidity running at? You could also try moisture absorbing granules or I think calcium chloride.

Snaps is correct. Don't cool the air(unless it's too hot), ventilate it and try to keep fresh air moving over the buds. I assume you know you want RH between 40-60% for flower.

A cheap forced air heater with a low setting would lower the RH in a small area, I suggest putting at as far away from the plants as you can tho.

I know this and I wasn't recommending otherwise.

I use to use a A/C during the summer at 60F and the air came out at rougly 70F at lights on, open end of the air cooled hood.
Now that it is winter, I use a inline to push air through (Soon to pull air through) and it comes out at 80F

If you open the other end of the air coming in through the hood it won't be freezing cold (While the lights are on) and this will allow you to have a better humidity level as long as you are venting outside.
The humidity gets so low that at night I turn off everything but the fan and my temps are around 64-66F and humidity doesn't go above 50%

What is your complete situation? Outdoor temp/humidity vs. indoor temp/humidity? Current air flow in tent/closet/basement? Hydro/Soil?

I bought a used dehumidifiers for $15 at a garage sale last summer and it still purrs like a kitten.

Someone suggested I used buckets of salt.

MY SITUATION

4 x 4 x 6 tent in a 10 x 12 x 8 room.

6" Rhino filter, 6" ducting, to ONE aero wing reflector with 1000w lamp, all run with a 6" RvK
Vented to near window (hot air warms most upstairs of house)
Passive intake-ducting on floor to further in room (opposite side to vented air).

RH between 68% (very occasionally that high) and less than 30%
Usually between the 40 to 60%.

I was under the impression that, during flower, the RH needed to stay under 30-35%....???

Temps
Between 80 to 88 (in middle of light period/warmest part of day)
to
65 to 70 (dark period coldest time).

I turn off Oscilating fans and close tent flaps, to retain warmth, when dark cycle starts.

No.

Someone told you wrong.

Humidity can be anywhere below 65% and be fine.
Humidity below 30% is good for Trichome production is all.

No I said use buckets of rice read what I said, I'm just tryin to help. Rice absorbs moisture your spending all this money you probably don't have.

With most strains under 63% Rh is fine.

Sometime else suggested salt. The rice us a good idea though.

80 - 88 seems too hot. Also 65 at night is pushing it.

And yea, it all depends on the strain for ideal limits.
