no i won't i am stoned as fuck right now off a bud i pulled off my 6 week flowering plant, i dryed it for 3 days in HLG hanging dry net, the plant i had before this 1 i tried a nug when it was dry was good and then after i cured it it wasn't as good, so really i think it depends on the type of strain, but also i dont see the point in cureing why would i want to wait 2 more weeks for just for the nugs to get more dense? but it wont get you more high is what i am trying to say, if anything less high
You didn’t dry it right.. that’s why it didn’t cure right. Just sayin.

Do you use bovida or boost packs? Air tight Glass jars? I’m just trying to figure this out bc it makes no sense. Maybe give me a hour and I’ll figure it out after this goes down the hatch :eyesmoke: lol I’m bored in locked down LA
i did not use packs i just tried burping them, i now just got some boost packs but to be honest i am scared to cure now, that is why i made this post cause i don't want to wait 2 weeks for bud that wont make me as high, i don't care if it smells a little bit better i don't sell it i just smoke my bud

im waiting for someone who has the science based info saved somewhere bc im feeling way to lazy to get into the chemical reactions and changes in the drying and curing process and I don't have anything to source rn and I don't want to look so consider this post as useless as uncured bud

(I kid I Kid... you do get high and I also press my uncured bud for the flower rosin and if you think about it WPFF live rosin is uncured and very good so?)

but its a hot debate in the rosin world :P

I hear ya... and yeah something doesn't add up shit I know if I go buy almost any weed and jar it for a couple weeks it's like a whole different experience lol. If its flushed dried right curing weed is like curing meats brings out more smells flavors etc
listen I do agree with you but also some of the best smells and strongest rosin ive had was from WPFF uncured buds.

Fresh bud has some very powerful effects. Sometimes good sometimes a liitle rough on the edges but a very distinct buzz.

How long you mean by cure may affect this very special buzz you like that is the fresh bud buzz. After a few weeks of curing those rough edges are smoothed out. After a few months the really stony fresh bud buzz fades and mellows into sometimes a deeper or stronger, stonier buzz.

If that really in your face buzz is what you like than curing may not seem good to you...but it could be you just like fresh bud.

Because as it gets older, a cured bud gets better or at least smoother and cleaner, while truly uncured bud fades very fast and becomes weak in about 3 months.

Only a grower or friend of a grower gets to experience freshly dried bud. To many they dont like it because its a little too wild or sleepy. It is not the true character od the strain in the first 10 days after harvest.

Right im talking about for smoking not for making rosin....I see where you are going and for rosin that makes sense but for rolling a blunt curing is way to go imo at least :) we all prefer our own haha

right right no don't get me wrong in the world of smoking it the experience and for me effect is better after a very long dry 3-4weeks with a very long cure... ive also enjoyed my buds after 14 day dry and 10-14 day cure so there's a spectrum

as far as effect and potency WPFF is so nice..
haha

thank you for that information, i just want to add the bud was still smooth i didn't cough it might of burned a little faster then cured bud like i said cured bud is more dense right? but there are alot of times i buy weed from people and there bud would look like it was cured and the high is not that good, So i really don't beleave cureing makes THC% higher i do agree with you though over time i guess it could lose some potency if it wasn't cured.

I’ve never read nor heard anyone saying that but you; if that were “the reason” to cure, it’s no real reason at all...but that’s not how I understand the process
